Good Morning!

Going to start tou off with an interesting story and pictures:

A PUPPY born with a large, clear, love-heart-shaped pattern

in his coat, the puppy was born in May in Odate, northern Japan.

Shop owner Emiko Sakurada said it was the first time a puppy

with these marks had been born out of a thousand litters she had bred.

She had no plans to sell the puppy, which has been named 'Heart-kun'.

The puppy is a long-coated male Chihuahua.

Rudy is in the proverbial doghouse this morning.  I have looked high and low for my other slipper and I can't find it.  I think he may have taken it outside and if so, it could be buried in snow by now (even though it's just on the deck).  I just don't have the motivation to go outside yet... brrrr...but after I have my tea and wake up some more I may just have to! 

 

Will check in later, hopefully with a slipper on each foot!

I am sitting here now with toast and coffee laughing out loud and forcing myself not to say "Hey! Rudy! Way to go"  or being a good Critter Chat host and saying.." BD, remember you gotta love em"  After all we do advacate non-abuse here...LOL

Eh hem...ok, back to my normal voice.

Kozy, I've gotten that sweet little thing in my email before.  Just adorable.  I'm with 2MT, I could scoop that one up in heart beat (no pun intended).

Slow morning for me.  Rough night with my youngest ds.  He didn't get much sleep last night therefore, neither did my dh or I.  I tried to lay back down after he got on the bus, but everything I need to do today kept going through my head and I couldn't stay there.  Maybe later before the bus arrives I can get in a power nap.

I hope everyones furry ones are safe and sound this morning and getting lots of lovin'.  I have no doubt of it in this group.

Angel..sorry about your ds.. Maybe you can get in one of those power naps you spoke about before. I do remember the sleepless nights when my kids were little ones. ...Barney is a real pretty dog. TY for shareing the pic.He looks so solf..

I want to mention that I have a friend. Her name is TammyMain. I met her when we had the old BB format. I had to leave it and she tried her best to keep it going until she also had to leave. But she wrote to me that she is back on line now. I told her we had Critter Chat back up and running.  So if TammyMain stops in please give her a hardy welcome.

Kozy  you have it right about the "baby" in my avatar, she is just that a baby and very spoiled by our own doing.  She is such a loveable pup and such a people person that it's sometimes hard to do what we need to as she's always underfoot and has to be with us, loves to be held and cuddled.  But then she's now our baby, so guess it's alright.

 BD  I get quite a kick out of Rudy and wonder what he's up to each day. 

Kozy, that's so funny you should mention TammyMain!  Many times I was going to ask you if you remember who first started this thread.  I was just beginning to join in when Tammy was the one starting this thread on the old bb.  She had a website that I posted a pic of Sammie on.  Then I remember her having some trouble and then not having internet any more.  I have often wondered how she was doing.  I hope she starts posting again.  Thanks so much for the update.  I'm off  to WalMart for a few things.  Take care......

gkids..spoil that baby and I mean that. I do not think we can overspoil (is that a word) our critters. They give so much love and comfort back in return....Gosh..now my eyes are going to puddle up so I am out of here for awhile [:'(]

The case of the missing slipper has not been solved.  However, I did find a tennis shoe that I did not even know was missing yet!  Here is a pic of Rudy proudly standing over his stash. 

 

 

A closer look reveals that tennis shoe, his ducky, a paper towel roll, a pop carton with 2 empty cans inside (no we do not toss our garbage outside...lol) and his chew tire thing...but no slipper.  Sheesh, he must have dropped it somewhere around here!

my dd is home sick with a high fever..it's a virus that's going around..and our cat "the beast" has been sleeping with her and following her around..she senses that my dd is sick..usually the cat is out in the living room with us and the dogs..or getting herself in trouble..buy yesterday she was at my dd side and rarely left her..
