    Hi Susan,

I saw in another thread that you draw well.

I was wondering if you drew the Cat for your Avatar?

(What do you like to draw?)

    Hi Cookjoy!

The cat in my avatar is Harry, my beloved long haired tabby. It comes from a pen and ink sketch I made of him.

Besides my cats, I like to draw pictures of people. The human face and figure are most interesting to me.

Do you like to draw, Cookjoy?

Wow!  That's awesome, Susan.  You've got quite a talent there.  I'm impressed.  It's a beautiful drawing.  What a handsome cat boy.

    Susan,

I love Harry! You did a beautiful job drawing him.

Do you draw in color or prefer black and white?

(Yes, Susan, I also like to draw! I like to draw people, pets,

nature, and cartoons. I like black and white the best, but have done

    a few in color!)

And here all this time I just thought you were nice...now I know you're talented.

Yeah I'm among those that consider myself happy to draw a stick figure....hey, I say, she's got curly hair and a big smile.  LOL

Wow, you're an artist for sure!  I do some nice doodling.  I would love to be able to draw and have the time to practice.

    Thank you, you guys!

Cookjoy, I like drawing in black and white (or shades of gray, with a pencil) best. When I use color, I paint with oil paints, but haven't done that in some time.

When I was a kid I always liked story books with line drawings -- black and white. I still admire that kind of work. I like Arthur Rackham's line drawings of illustrated fairy tales.

It's nice to hear that you enjoy drawing too, Cookjoy! Did you by any chance draw your avatar?

Thank you for your kind comments.

    Smile

    Susan,

I also prefer to use pencil.

If I do use color I use the Pastel Paint Sticks.

No, I didn't draw my Avatar!

It's been nice talking with you Susan!

I can't even draw a nice stick figure. LOL
