    Dog DNA Test

Want to find out what breeds your mixed breed dog REALLY comes from? For just under $80 now you can. All you have to do is swab  the inside of the mouth.

Hmmm...I wonder if you had a dog that liked to eat other dogs poopsicles if the other dogs DNA would show up from swabbing their mouth

You know- you can usually solve that problem with a higher grade dog food. Dogs do that because they are going after undigested enzymes in the poop.

Here is the story I saw on the news last night.-

That was interesting whiteflower.  It might be something I would do if I had an extra $80 I didn't know what to do with.  Thanks for the info.

My new agility trainer told us about this a few weeks ago.  I think it is so fascinating.  She said it's good to find out so you know what the breed traits are.

wonder what they would find if they checked our female's english setter's mouth? she likes poopsicles of our male dog and she also if ever given the chance eats the cats. they sell something from drs. foster and smith in their catalog that you put on the food and it'll make the pooh bitter so she won't do that. i really need to order some. sorry if anyone was eating, it's gross i know!!

Theres a company that does the same thing for humans. I think 300.00 or so. Basically it tells you what races are in you. Sometimes they can even get it down to a geographic region.

I have a family member (by marriage) that is going to do that. Somehow she is doing it through National Geographic Society- not sure of the particulars.
