I've lost the poem for Easter that tells what each color stands for. I would like to put a jelly bean of each color in a plastic egg along with the poem as to what each color stands for and give to the kids at church on Easter. Does anyone have it and be willing to share with me?
Thanks so much, Marge
I hope this will work for you this is what i know of:
THE JELLY BEAN PRAYER
GREEN is for the grassy blade,
YELLOW is for the sun God made.
ORANGE's for a flame so bright.
BLACK is for our sins not right.
RED is for the blood He gave.
WHITE is for Jesus grace. He saved.
PURPLE is for the hours of sorrow
PINK is for a new tomorrow.
A bag of jellybeans, so colourful and sweet,
is a promise, a prayer, and a loved one's treat.
HAPPY EASTER !
Thank you so much!!! That's the one I was looking for.
Thanks, Marge
hello all,
Thank you so much for the post----I want to use it too.
I am very partial to the green jelly bellies, did not know that purple was a sad color!
