Months coming up ..... what to mail?

I looked and looked but couldn't find the mailing guidelines for the up coming months. All I remember is May is BBQ month.  Can some one remind me please.

April is National Humor Month. No size requirement! Send something that will make your SS smile with each revealing.  This can be a joke, a joke book, a gag gift,etc. We can make this April Fools day EVERY day in April.  (That is what I have from the paper Marcia gave to us)

 

I am excited for May and the National BBQ Month!! Walmart has their BBQ things out and some of it looked nice!!!

Good thinking Amy- I had forgotten about this.  So we need to send things that our SS would laugh at.  Hmmm....

Well, I know one lady who at this point might be thinking of mailing out her "skunky" smelling dog to her SS for a laugh!  LOL!!!!!

Sorry Big Sis', just trying to make you smile!!!! -- I sure hope Gracie is smelling better today!

Sisters, don't be afraid to be copycats!  Watch the Thank you thread. If you see something that sounds like it would be fun and appropriate for your sister by all means COPY IT!  Last year, I sent off a pumpkin themed box for one of the sisters. that gave me an idea to send my ss  a pumpkin themed mailing.  

I'm not proud......I will admit to copying others.  it gives me ideas and sometimes leads to other ideas!  I love to read the thank yous!

You are assigned a Secret Sister (SS) and you send to her without telling her who you are.  Most of us use our SS's own address as a return address on the envelope or package so she doesn't know where we live.  Than when she receives the mailing, she comes onto the board and thanks you.  Because she doesn't have any other way of saying thank you.

Now, how you get yours.  Someone has been assigned your name and is doing the same thing for you that I just mentioned above.   Sometimes SS use pretend names to sign the mailings just for the sake of making it more personal.  I know, I've read some really cute ones on here this time around.  I like the idea.

If I haven't explained it clearly enough, I just know that Kay, Linda, Marcia or another sister will be on shortly and do a better job.  Just keep asking questions and we'll just keep answering.
