    Citizen Bread Maker Recipe Book

    Hi!

I recently was given a Citizen Auto Bakery Bread machine (Model: J5741X) and I am looking for the recipe book that would have come with it. It is not a large machine, so it makes a smaller loaf. Does anyone have this booklet/manual or a link to a website that has it??

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I did some searching on the internet for a manual for your machine, but I didn't find anything.

I did find some helpful information:

    http://www.hillbillyhousewife.com/breadmachinemanual.htm

    http://www.hillbillyhousewife.com/breadmachinerecipes.htm

    http://breadmachinedigest.com/index.shtml

Check out these above sites and see if that helps. Not knowing how much you know about breadmachines it is hard to know exactly what you need if your manual cannot be replaced.

I have played with alot of different brands and have pdf files for lots of bread machines and would really be glad to help you in any way I could.  This is a email addy that I rarely use or check but I will give it to you and will try to remember to ck it. snow-amb at juno dot com

Thank you very much! This has helped. I will use the measurements to find out how large of a loaf it makes, then search for the appropriate recipe.

    Thanks again!Big Smile

Sorry, I've never heard of this machine.  Good luck in your search - I looked on the 'net but didn't find anything.

Hi .  I was also looking for this manual.  I wanted to put my  bread maker (samemodel) into a garage sale.  I found my manual.  I am presently making a loaf of bread- I may just decide to keep it.

Anyhow, I have scanned the manual -recipes.  If you would like it please email me directly.  I am not familiar with this format.  My email address is   robinles@sasktel.net .

    Let me know,  Robin

If you are still looking for it, I have the recipe book for the J5741X bread machine.  I could scan it and send.  I am looking for the manual because my beater bar doesn't click in and bakes into the loaf of bread.  Does yours do that too?

Let me know if you'd like me to send you a scan of the recipe booklet.

I am assuming that your beater bar is "what I call the paddle".  It is not unusual for it to come out in the bread (sometimes mine does and sometimes not).  I use a dowel rod (or wooden pencil) to stick in the hole and gently work it a bit and it comes out (sometimes clean and sometimes a HOLE). DON'T scratch your paddle because it will make it stick worse.
