    Beverage Help

I'm hosting a classical music night at my house and I'm just serving beverages. I want to serve something refreshing yet not crazy. Right now all I can come up with is Rootbeer Floats and that just seems too campy.  It would need to be something without alcohol since none of us drink. Any great ideas spring right out at you?  I'd love any suggestions.  I've got to get past the Rootbeer Floats.

Since you are talking floats/ice cream, why not some spring strawberries and make floats with them? Or strawberry smoothies or shakes? Wal Mart has peach sherbet and Krogers has peach soda and add some peach juice (usually with white grape juice added) and make peach punch....it is good. No recipe, just add until you like the combination. We made this for a wedding at our house last summer and we had the men asking for more and saying how good it was.....the men!!

    Re: Beverage Help

I made this for a gathering @ my home and without exception, everyone loved it

1little tub of Crystal Light Tea (made according to instructions on tub)

    1-2liter Sprite

That's it, garnish with lemon, lime etc.

Very nice & refreshing (I would not call this diet, since you use reg. Sprit

You or your guests will not be dissappointed

I forgot add Sprite just before serving, but can make tea earlier in the day & chill.

I chilled the bottled Sprite also

These are so easy, so delicious, and non-alcoholic. I received this recipe years ago from a restaurant.  We buy the strawberry daiquiri in bottles (possibly 64 ounces) in the alcohol section of the grocery store.  There are other flavors, as well.

    STRAWBERRY DAIQUIRI (non alcoholic)

    1/4 cup water
    1/4 cup strawberry daiquiri mix
    1 cup ice cubes

    Whirl in blender.
    Enjoy.
