    Hi Rachael,

I just wanted to let you know I received all the cookbooks today and love them all.  The Hershey's Chocolate Pretzels are my first to concur from the Hershey's Holiday Collection,   The Land O Lakes cookies and the appetizers have a lot of great recipes, the Nabisco Holiday Fun will be a blast in a few months and the Church Heart & Soul has a lot of fun recipe to have fun with this summer.

Thank you so much.  YOU spoiled me and I am really enjoying this.

    Have a great weekend

I need to apologize to my partner... I had NO IDEA that we were suppoed to be shipping our cookbooks. I marked on my calendar to ship May 12th, I must have mixed this up with another swap. I do feel very silly & I will do my very best to get it shipped tomorrow or Monday! How embarassing!!

    Sorry !!

Hello!  I found this posted on the BBQ swap thread, but I think it belongs here.  If not, please forgive me, I just didn't want someone to miss out on the thank you for the book they sent.

    Take care!

Thank you so much for the Taste of Home Backyard Grilling Cookbook, Judy  (juann)!  I got it on May 3, I think, but a tornado hit us on May 2 and I haven't been around a computer to thank you until now.  I haven't even had time to enjoy looking through the cookbook as it's been in my car until tonight.  I'm looking forward to going through it tonight.

Thank you also for the note about you and your family.  I hope someday to have as many DGC as you do.  I have one grandson that I adore.  Where is your summer home?  Write me sometime.

    Hugs, CJ

My cookbook swap package arrived today!!!  Kate sent the huge Land of Lakes Treasury of Country Recipes book and the Country Style Cooking from Hazleton, Iowa.  Both look fabulous.

I brought the smaller one with me to work tonight to start reading-----looks like great recipes in both of them.

Now, if only I could find a personal chef so all I had to do was pick out what I wanted for dinner every night!!

Thanks so much Kate!!  You did good!!

Re: cookbook swappers post here when you receive

I received my cookbook swap package on Saturday from my partner Lynn (mtmind)!  I received a wonderful community type cookbook (my favorite kind)  call Whats cooking in Summit.  The cookbook came in a 3 ring binder.  I started to read through it on Sunday and can't wait to finish.  I also received a beautiful handmade card with a wonderful letter from Lynn telling me about herself and her family.

And that wasn't all....the mail carrier also left a card in my mail box for a letter I had to go to the post office on Monday to pick up.  What a surprise...another handmade card from Lynn with a key chain that she made that had a little notebook on it.  What a cute idea!

Thank you so much Lynn for the wonderful cookbook and key chain!

P.S.  I have sent you a private message here on the BB.

    Hi Willie!!!
I am so glad that the books made it there so fast & that you like them... I have both of those books and love them.
The smaller book is from one of the two Amish communities here in eastern Iowa. Dh and I love to drive up to this one in particular. The shop sells fresh eggs and home canned goods along with MANY MANY cookbooks and hand made items. They have no electricity, so they are only open during "daylight" hours...

    Enjoy!!

    Hi PatE!

I was thrilled when I saw your name come rolling into my email as a partner. However, time wasn't on my side in finding the cookbook you would have likedSad  I did like this one and I even bought one for myself(which is a bad habit of mine!) but this way we can do some reviews together!

I also think your cookbook made it there in record time~Holy Cow, I sent out a mailing to my friend in Ohio the same day and she still hasn't received it! Go figure Tongue Tied

Re: cookbook swappers post here when you receive

    Hi Willie,

Thank you so much for the great cookbooks. The Cheyenne Heart Center one was exactly the kind I was hoping for. I have an aunt and cousins that live in Cheyenne. My aunt may have had heart surgery at this very place. I am anxious to look at all of the recipes and try making some "heart healthy" recipes.

Best of Hometown Cooking looks really good too. I will definately be trying some of the recipes in there for my family.

Thank you again Willie you did a great job picking cookbooks for me.

    June--

You are so welcome for the books---I was excited when you mentioned that you were looking for "heart healthy" recipes as I had purchased several of the books from the rehab dept when they first were published and had a couple of them left.

Hope you enjoy both of them--
