    HAPPY MAYDAYWilted Flower

Goodmorning Grannies looks like I'm the only one up early this moring. Coffee is ready. Just wanted to do a quick flyby before leaving for Col this morning. We had a wonderful visit with my cuz yesterday. Bitter sweeet goodbyes were said but once again we rejoice knowing a loved one will soon be in the presence of our Lord.

I'll ck in when I have time. Returning home Mon.

Love, hugs and prayers for all

     Good Morning...

Grammy....safe travels for you.  Have fun.

It's going to be a little warmer today but rain will be moving in later in the day...not sure when.

Today is the Mother's Day Tea with the 3 yr olds.  Should be cute.  No real tea, it is apple juice and we'll have fruit, cheese & crackers and cookies.  The moms will come and make a project with their child.  We'll be doing the same thing tomorrow with the 4 yr olds.

    Have fun, Applek, shopping.

Well, I better finish getting ready for school........BBL

    Good morning, grannies.

Things are getting better. We are waking up to 40's instead of freezing.

GRAMMY, Happy May Day to you, too. Good that you got to visit your cousin. Continued safe travels.

KATHIE, shopping should be fun with DD. Didn't check my files, so don't know when LA is celebrating that day.

CJAY, it should be a fun day with the children and moms. Always interesting to see the interaction of the moms and their child.

I will be in most of the day, but warmer weather could lure me outside. Getting some laundry donw early. Tomorrow night the church is having a Scrapping Night for the ladies. So, I will gather some supplies to make some cards. I will take some crocheting along, too. I missed the last one, but was told everyone didn't do scrapbooks.

Prayers continue for VICKY, DEBBIE, LINY and DH.

Have a good day, grannies. Let's get ready to dance around the Maypole.

    Good morning Grannies!

    Safe travels, Grammy.

I'm running behind today and don't know why because I got up earlier then usual.  Guess I figured I got up early have more time and now have spent all that time and now will need to rush finishing up.  Geesh!

It's cool here this morning and it was rain dropping a little bit.  If it isn't raining at lunchtime I will put in another walk.  Didn't get to go mushroom hunting last evening.

Continued prayers for Liny & DH, Debbie, Ginny, Vicky and whoever I missed, HUGS for everyone.

     Gooooood Morning, Grannies!!

There is a hazy sun outside, the wind is there and the clouds should be coming in soon.

Grammy, Glad you had a good visit yesterday.

Apple, , fire trucks rushing by sure can be a rude way to wake up. Happy shopping.

Cjayh, That Mother's Tea sounds like a cute idea. I bet the little ones will enjoy that. The mothers will too. What kind of project are they doing?

Nancy, A card making fest sounds like something good to look forward too. DIL's DSis  made DGS graduation announcement/invitation. They are so nice. Such a great keepsake.

Justme, I hope you catch you on all your work today .

Quilting and food pantry stuff to do today. I also have to think of something to bake.

Prayers for Ginny, Debbie, Vicky, and Liny's DH.

    HAPPY MAY DAY to everyone.

Have a nice tea Cjayh. Is there ever a child in the group that does not have a mother come?

Nancy have fun do you like to do scrap books? I have boxes and drawers and bags of pictures that go back to the late 60's all still in the envelopes they came in when I picked them up LOL . love to take pictures look at them once and that is it.

Wanda one of my tricks get up early think I have lots of time and oops it all flew away lol .

Fran don't work to hard today . Not much baking ever happens here.

I did hear from Doug and he came through his surgery just fine so thanks for those who held him in your thoughts. One more week of actual bowling and them a week off and then the banquet. I will be glad when that is over. Our team is hopeing not to be in last place this year LOL. Oh and I bowled really bad last night .

Wilted Flower Happy May Day to All !

It's nice being in the land of the connected again.  DGS came by last night and got everything fixed.  So glad someone knows how - all I know is how to turn it on!

Have some banana nut mini muffins and plenty of hot coffee to share.  Better run and get ready for work at the office.  Next week is my off week and I'm really looking forward to it!

    Hugs and prayers for all.

    Good Morning all.

Grammy,  didn't know that was only a one-day trip. Thought you were going there and then over to Columbus. Have a good time and practice driving on the ex-way.

    Hi Apple.

CJ, have fun at the Mother's Tea. Sounds like a nice menu.

Nancy, sunshine and 46* already. But that wet stuff is expected during the afternoon again!

Wanda, not warm enough for the mushrooms to sprout yet.

Fran, sunny here, but don't think I'll be doing any outside work. DH may run the rototiller however. We both still feel a bit tired out.

    MJ, have a good trip.

Mimib, I'll enjoy a banana nut muffin. No coffee here yet. There was half a pot left and I don't like old leftover coffee. So until DH drinks it up, I'll go without!

Good morning. I'm not sure what happened but we still have that strange light in the sky. I think this is three days in a row. It has to cloud up and start raining soon. We were doing some planting yesterday and the part by the house went well but then we pushed our luck and went to the area that Gary dug up last summer. It was terrible. You would push the spade in and then you had to scrape the mucky dirt off of it before you could get any more out. We didn't stay at that very long. Want to try to get it done before more rain but yesterday was not the day.

Grammy nice to hear from you. Glad your trip is going well.

Apple like your little May Guy with the flowers. Fire trucks going by could get you out of bed rather quickly. Hope the fire stays with the chimney.

Cjayh today all of those moms will get to enjoy all of their childrens art right from the start.

Nancy it's fun watching others do the scrap booking. I'm afraid I don't think that way. I need a pattern.

Wanda have a good day. How many more till vacation?

Fran have fun quilting, what are you going to bake.

MJ have a good trip and Doug is doing well.

Guess I had better get going while the sun is still shining. It's so much easier to get busy if I can see the sun.

Hope everyone has a good day.

    Hugs and prayers to all.

Good morning and Happy May Day. Wilted FlowerWilted FlowerWilted FlowerWilted Flower  Can someone tell me what happened to April? Did I sleep through it?  Oh well, time Time marches on! Sad

GrammyO--Glad you had the visit with Cuz. Enjoy the trip to Col. Bet you are looking forward to the baby shower. Have a blessed May Day.

AppleK---Have fun shopping with DD. Nice you can spend time together.

CJ----Hope the M & D tea goes well. Would love to see the little ones and their Moms enjoying themselves.

Atv---Hope scrapping fun is a good time for you. I would like to get into that but there is so much stuff to buy. Sad

Justme2---Hope you are able to get your walk in today.

Gram2---What will you be baking today?  I should too. No inspiration though.

MJ--Have a good trip to Sturgis.  Glad to hear Doug is doing well after surgery.

Mimi---Glad to have you back on the web. Whatever would we Grannies do without our DGC?

Lily----Since you are still a little tired, not working outside is a good choice. Are you sewing on a quilt top today?  Don't blame you about the coffee. I'd rather have fresh also.

Alby---Sunshine is an excellent motivater when it comes to working, whether inside or out. Have a productive day.

Well I need to get up and fix DH and I some toast and eggs. Busy day today. Have to funeral viewings to go to tonight. The young (52) women I asked for Grannie prayers for died on Tuesday morning. And the Mother of a dear friend also passed away the same day. Two funerals in two different towns. Will keep us moving tonight.       BBL

Got a little bit of time.  A 'ribbon cutting' meeting is going on so all the highers are there.  Not too many of us left here.  Big Smile

Got my stuff caught up....oh well, if you don't count that pile of papers in the corner.

Alby, only 26 days left. I'm starting to get excited.  But it also feels like it is a dream.  Can't picture myself there.  Nerves!

Going to shop for some things to put in a pkg. for each DGC.  DGS is scared and I want him to have something to occupy his time.  I'm sure his Mom will but thought I'd make a surprise for them.  Got notebooks and pencils.  I want to make up some questions and put them in the books.  If anyone has any good questions to ask, just let me know.  Also will get a couple snacks for them too.  I'll put them in a bag of some kind and tell they that they can't look in it until they are up in the air.

Got to go and reheat my tea.  BBL.

Wanda, I just typed in "Facts about Hawaii" and found many listings. This one - http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0108204.html has lots of facts and figures for your DGS to study. Then he can sound so knowledgeable. There are also links to all the other islands there. Plus lots of other sites from which you could form questions or even copy off the info for him to read.
