BBQ Bash 2008 Shipped

Canada/USA shipping should be finished this week, so I am starting the thread for the ladies shipping to and from Canada.  Shipping within the US begins on the 9th with a deadline of the 17th of May.  All those that send their confirmation numbers to me by the 17th will be entered into a drawing for a wonderful Weber Grilling Cookbook and at least one other prize.

 

Please leave a little clue as to where your package is headed.

Mine is off and about!  It is lovely weather where it is heading, should be about 23º, oh how I wish we had that weather!  First it will go way south, then it will turn east.  Hmmm, that doesn't say much, does it???

Dear Ms .......  I waited and I waited for a specific item to be in stock.  Well, I finally had to substitute it for second best.  Guess what I fount today!!!  Now I am so sad, I shipped off your box already, now of course, the store gets in the one specific .......  Hope you like your box anyway.  When you see a box with red tape (it's specially Canadian made tape) you know that box is from me!

Ummm, Peg, I dont' got nowhere to ship, except for south east!!!  Now if whoever has my name, would say they shipped my box off, I think it would be a dead giveaway, for I think I am the only Canadian that joined.  And the rest of you havent gotten to the shipping date.  (just between you and me Peg, yea, it's going your direction!)

My package was shipped out today to my partner.  It is traveling west of me....which could be just about anywhere since I live in New England...  The post office said it should be delivered in 4-5 days, but knowing my post office that probably means more like a week or more.

   OK - I give up.  Had to get that box outta here.  Thought I finished shopping early when it weighed 14 lbs, then had to wait, so of course, found a "few more good things" and my baby reached 17 lbs, then was nurtured to 21.   That's it - bye.  It's either going directly north or northwest - the only 2 directions it can go from here.  My partner doesn't know it, but she's already got a "sort of" clue.  When it gets there, hope you enjoy.

The PO is only open until 5:30, so since tomorrow is my Friday to close, I think I will stop by on my way home tonight… Here’s the hint to my partner:

 My swap box is traveling 920 miles to make its way to my partner!!! A French Explorer discovered the city where she lives in 1615.
I have visited this state once, but I have never been to the city where she lives.

PS….. BOX IS RATHER HEAVY!!!

 

 

   My package is headed South to a really nice Southern Gal!! It was shipped priority, so "maybe" by  Saturday she will receive it!!!

My partner's box has made it to the US, so now I will not be recieving any more updates.  But ..........your box should be there next week!!

I am going to be gone most of the time until Monday so I found a box and mailed today!

Trying to find a good hint for it's destination, I found one that just may be a dead giveaway, but who out there is going to have their town wide garage sales on May 17?

 Now you know who you are, so check your mail possbibly by Saturday but definitely Monday!

I couldn't wait any longer so I shipped today also.  I'm busy tomorrow and away and Saturday.  And I didn't want to pay the increase postage so I shipped!!!

My package isn't traveling too far and should be there on Saturday.  I will be away til Sunday so I hope there is a post waiting for me.

Oh boy o boy o boy…………. Am I EVER excited!!!! My little hometown is having their annual citywide garage sales on Saturday May 17^th!!!! Could LindA’s package be headed to IOWA????? Only time will tell….

I wonder how many other little towns are having garage sales on that day????
