Good Morning!!

DGD back this morning..............toaster waffles!  She said she lived on toast last week..lol   I guess grannies have good things for breakfast!!  Wearing new Converse Black High-tops; part of her birthday presents!  Busy week for her so will celebrate on Saturday with Chocolate PeanutButter cheesecake.......

Going to be a very nice day.  I see MJ was pulling off covers...so I'm coming over here for my coffee...such a rude awakening...LOL  Glad I was already up and dressed. 

Applek...what day is little apples birthday?

MJ...are you home from Jeff's?  Furbabies home with you now?

Need to get a few things together..........BBL 

 Oh...almost forgot...It's Cinco de Mayo!

 You are right CJ............... but I can't do do toooooooooo much dancing or I won't be able to paint........lol

 

littleapple will be 15 on Thursday!!   sigh!   So much practicing for Marching Band Compitation! & church Teens on Friday so we will have cheesecake on Saturday!!   Sometimes I wonder why life has t be soooooo fast & busy!?!

 

Hot coffee & some cookies here..............will share the paint roller!  lol

I couldn't figure out why I was so cold this morning and then saw MJ putting the windows up and pulling the covers off.  Brrrrrrrr!

 

Not much happening at my house today.  At least I don't think so.  Have to pay bills.  Think I will stop at the shoe store on my way home and see if they have sandals for me.  That is my last try.  Well not really, I can buy a pair like I have but they just cost more then what WM charged.  I have to order them.

 

Having left overs for supper tonight.  Tomorrow night I will make a chicken soup for DH as I hope to be at the county track meet.  I should just take the day off...go eat lunch with DGD and then go to the track meet.  I'll have to think about that.

 

I've got to go get warmed up and get my hair done.  I think I will leave a little early and go drop off a bill.  That will be out of the way then.

Yipee! I have the day off so lots of choices for me today. Beautiful sunshine after a dreary weekend with temps going up to 70*. Should I buy flowers/plants for my deck? Bake something gooey? Read my book? Help applek paint? Betcha I end up doing what I always do .... clean, run errands and cook! At least I can do it at my own pace.

 

apple ... Nice birthday celebration coming your way! Littlepple is so busy that I hope she can settle down and enjoy her special day over the weekend. You sure look frisky this morning. Is that YOUR picture dancing around? LOL

 

Cjayh ... Are you working today?  I think you said you only have 2 weeks left of school. Wow! Where did the year go? Going to be a nice day here, too. Hope you get outside on your swing today!

 Applek...they sure do grow up fast.  I always wonder why kids have to be so busy, too.  They don't have time to be kids anymore.  If I do any painting, it will be at school..LOL

Justme..I think that sounds like a good idea..taking the day off and having fun.

MA...I'm at school all day today.  But these last couple weeks will go fast.  We go to the nature center/farm on Wed and Thurs.  Enjoy your day off. 

 Good Morning Ladies - back to work again-how do Mondays roll around so fast. I can't believe how fast yesterday went -seemed like I just got up and it was time to go to bed again.  I did sleep better last night - I turned the heat back on! I couldn't sleep the night before cause I was so cold! I did shut it off now, so hopefully the day will warm up - the sun is shining nicely.

I've always wanted to have a Cinco de mayo party, but for some reason if never happens. This year, too busy with the wedding, and last year, I was just getting to feel better, from having the crud, and before that, I can't remember.

I'm offering oatmeal for breakfast -maple and b sugar- and I'm having a left over piece of poppy seed cake - You are all welcome to join me.

Deb, its great to hear you sounding so good, so soon after your surgary.

Well, gotta keep moving - Stylist, your trip sounded like a great time to me - I'd have loved to  have joined you.

Good morning, another pretty day, sunny and 75º. I have a Dr. appointment this a.m. so will be leaving soon.  It's in Ft. Wayne.

GREENBACK  I'm glad you slept well last night. Sure helps one get through the day. Thanks for the oatmeal, that's the kind Iike too.

CJ  A lot of field trips this time of year!  do you enjoy going on them with the kids?  When our kids were in elementary, I tried to go and enjoyed it.

MA  Umm, those chocolate chip cookies sure are good! another cup of coffee please! Have a great day off!! when is your last day? our kids don't get out until the 10th of June.

JUSTME  Good luck in finding the shoes you want.  I love the Earth Spirit shoes that WM carries.  I have several pairs.   Have a good day and I hope all the appointments are on time.

APPLE  Oh come on, Little Apple can't be 15!!  I know, our oldest DGD just turned 20.  I so would like to go back in time when she was our 1st DGC and spoil her even more!!  They just steal our hearts!!

Good morning Grannies !!!!! So nice and bright here this morning. Temp is 47* going to 75*. Just a sunny and Sonny day for this Grannie.  Hope everyone else is as fortunate as I.

AppleK---Oh my how quickly they grow up. Hope DGD can slow down a little and enjoy the birthday. Saw one of my DGS last friday. He was all dressed up for a funeral in the family. He is a Jr. in high school and I was amazed at how grown up he looked. No longer a boy! 

CJ--Your last two weeks will be very busy, I'm sure.Hope the outings go well. What is Cinco de Mayo?

Justme2---Enjoy the track meet. Hope you find your sandals. Wish I could wear sandals in summer. Just have to have comfy but stable shoes.

Ma---Hope you have a little time on this "day off" for some "me" time. You do know that we women do not really ever have a day off. Hate to burst your bubble.

Greenback---After this busy weekend, I imagine you need to go to work to rest. Maybe tonight a "feet up" time for you.

Stylist-- Hope the trip to Fort Wayne is a sunny one and your Drs appt. goes well.

Lily--Have fun outside today. Hope you are like us. Our wind is at O. Nothing stirring. Farmers here are really busy also. We passed a field Sat. that had corn coming up. Lots of fields are all planted here.  Lots of cattle in the pastures now. Guess the price of beef is so low that nobody is selling right now. Lots of new calves out there too.

Well DH just brought me coffee and I am sitting here in my evening gown getting a bit chilly. Better go and get ready for my day. Need to decide on something for supper. Let's see----Meatloaf?  Round Steak with gravy?  Maybe DH will decide for me.

Well good morning again I came in with apple this morning and nobody even knew I was here. See how you all are lol . Thats ok I was trying to be humorous earlier today so it is probably a good thing you missed it lol . Apple it must have been nice to have little apple back this morning. My kids always liked those waffles also.  High top tennis shoes huh LOL .

 

Cjayh I came home yesterday I will go get the furbabies in an hour or so. I left them at the kennel last night.

 

Apple life has to be so fast and busy because it is short and we all want to do everything we can while we are here. That is my personal opinion anyway. The fact that Imust sleep really annoys me such a waste of my short lifetime. I wish we did not need sleep.

 

Justme maybe you could look on QVC that is where I buy my sandals. Hey a day off sounds good to me go for it. Just make sure you have enough Vacation time lol .

 

Marilyn enjoy the day off. Hope you accomplish all that is on your to do list.

 

Cjayh I would love the nature center probably more thatn the kids would. Tha tis my kind of fun. Ilove Zoo's also.

Stylist how far are you From Ft Wayne? I have been there several times. I used to go with my uncle sometimes to pick up honey wagons. He was a farm equipment dealer. We always went through Shipsawanna (sp) to see the amish. Now we have them here also.

 

Hi Lily what you don't like the open windows and blankets snatched off your warm sleeping body LOL. I am a mean one aren't I. Sounds like you may have a good outside day today Lily enjoy it.

 

Susie I too am still in my night clothes so time for breakfast get dressed and go to the kennel to get my shedding babies LOL.

Good morning.

Today I stayed home from work. My allergies are gving me the fits and I just couldn't face the little terrors at school today. I'll do them more good staying home today. MA, what is your excuse? hehe That is mine and I am sticking to it. LOL

 

SUZI, I haven't really noticed that the price of beef is down any here, but today I have to run to the grocery store and will check it out. I would rather eat beef than any other meat.

 

Looks like DH isn't going to work today either, truck is in the drive way and bike in the garage.

I hear him yaking now. Got 2 go

Good Moring Grannies - no sunshine here this AM just drippy rain.  Suppose to do this off and on all day.

Going into bookstore as there is a project going on - moving books from one section to another!  I don't mind as this is my "off" week from the office.

Really had a good time at DGGS's bd party Sat evening.  He is growing so much and changing all the time.  Where does the time go?  I remember my DGD's first birthday party and it seems it wasn't that long ago! LOL
