TGIF Rose Room ***May 9, 2008***

 I NEED good coffee!! LOL. I'm soooooo tired. I was up at 1130 for a meeting at work yesterday, after I went to the house and started cleaning the ceiling tile (which I've found out was painted styrofoam LOL). I ended up bringing half the livingroom tile home and clean as I missed Taffy and felt guilty. It's ok as it was easier to clean it up at my house. I had some water based Kiltz so I thinned it a bit and put a thin coat over the part that faces the ceiling. I've some white latex paint that I'll "wash" the other side with and that should really make things look better. I did about 6 small panels at the house and I was amazed at how much better it looked. Even just using Simple green on it make it 200x's better. The living room carpet looks 100x's better too. When I'm done with work I'm going over and collecting the rest of the living room panels and wash the rails. I'm going to bring over a air mattress and Taffy tonite so I can get an early start in the morning. Oh ya, my coffee pot too LOL. Gas went up to $3.79 here and I can't take that kind of a hit much longer. I'll have to hurry and get moved out. I'll miss my space but things are coming along and the more it's clean, the better it looks and I feel like it won't be so bad. I feel even better since yesterday after our meeting one of the RN's that I work with stopped over with 2 flowers and after walking thru the house said that it wasn't as bad as I made it out to be. Now I know opinions differ but it made me feel better as nobody else has been in it yet.

Jeanne, no, not moved in yet. Still cleaning. Had hoped to do a big move this weekend but I'm not sure it'll happen. Taffy hasn't seen it yet. I'm a little anxious about it as she's had a LOT of room in the front yard to roam and now will be sandwiched into a narrow small yard. I guess it'll give me an excuse to take more walks with her.

Well, my eyes are crossing. I'm off tonite and tomorrow but back Sunday. My neice turned 3 Tuesday and DB and DSIL are having a "party" for her at 1700 with a bon fire. Should be a nice and relaxing evening.

Oh crud!!!! I just remembered I need to go clean church sometime before 5pm tomorrow!!! Uff da, does it ever end???

Isn't there anyone else that ever cleans that church......seems you are always doing that on top of everything else you do. 

 Good Morning Ladies - SInce Chris seems to have deserted us, I'm going back to my usual greeting - If we have the pleasure of some other male visitors, I will once again change it, but until then - 

It's looking like rain again - Now isn't that something for us to look forward too?  Seems like that's all it does - we have once nice day, and another of rain - - at least it quit snowing! I should be thankful for that~!

My first cup of coffee is gone - actually, it's a 2 cup, cup - and my paper wasn't there when I got up - - seems to be late a lot all of a sudden!  Guess I'll go fill up and check the door again.

     T G I F!!!!!!!...I am working an extra 4-5 hours today....till 4:00. I defrosted a couple of chicken breasts yesterday and have been marinating them all night in a fajita marinade that someone at work recommended!!  I will have hubby grill them tonight!

It is suppose to be 89* today, and 94* tomorrow....looks like we may just get in the pool!!!

Jeanne I hope you found the bracelet....St. Anthony gets called on a lot here...I will call him for you!!

Roma, I believe you are right.....about new comers stopping in here....we have been together for so long and know everything about each other, that they just get lost with all our posts....oh well we do try to welcome them in.

I better get on the Elliptical and in the shower.....hubby is home this morning and is throwing me off my schedule....ugh!!!!

I have to work and pray that it's busy. My old place really took the business away from us. I do have some bad feelings about the place that just popped up. I had worked 15 years to build it up and these people come in and take all my hard work. I am trying so hard not to let it get to me. This and Mother;s Day has really put me in a funk. But I will get through both.

Off for more cofee. Then get ready for work.

Tomorrow we are going for a ride with some of the club members. I am really looking forward to this. I'd better since it was my idea.

 Lynn, everyone wants to go to the new place - It remains to be seen if they can keep them coming back - I suspect after the newness wears off, if the service hasn't improved from when you stopped in, business won't be so good there!

I can understand how you feel about Mothers Day, and I'd like to share a big hug with you. I have a friend in a similiar situtation, and I know she just can not go to church on Mothers Day.  I have talked with her about it different times, and I know just how difficult it is for her and you.

Lynn, I have to agree with Jane.....they just want to check out the new place...probably to see if it is as good as it was when you were running it!!  they will be back to you...they ALWAYS come back!!

I am already for work.....I am glad I will be gone most of the day. The house directly behind us is getting a new roof....all I hear is Spanish and bang bang bang!!  I guess I won''t be going in the pool tonight....they usually stay working till it gets dark out!!!  We will be getting our roof done when we get back from NJ...what a pain that will be...UGH!!!!

I hope everyone who is working has a busy day and it flies by quickly!!!!

 We are supposed to get heavy rain today; so I went to the other house real early; but so far we are only getting a light rain. Maybe I'll go pull a few weeds before the downpour.

Jeanne, I won't get daylilies until the end of June; although I do have some buds on the ones that came I just got from your neck of the woods. Also on some the buds died it was too darn cold coming up here from Mississippi.

You wouldn't believe how  mentally challenged I am (well, on the other hand maybe you do know) Anyway whenever I go to Costco I can never find my way back to my car. Actually it's the only place it happens to me. That parking lot is laid out crazy.  Yesterday I kept looking at my location and swore I could find my way back. NO WAY! I walked around for a half hour and was ready to go back in the store and tell them to call the police my car was stolen when I  finally saw it. I told Bill that the next time I go there I am going to take beans with me and leave a trail ala Hanzel and Gretel. His suggestion was to put a big empty box on the roof of my car.

Ugggggggggg good morning LOL

I didn't sleep well at all!! First hubby slapped me in the head around 2:30 & woke me up. Then it got windy & the bedroom door slammed, so I left it closed. Only thing the puppy was on the wrong side. So had to get up & open it & let her out!The wind made her nervous! It's still windy!! So about 8:30 I put a Lifetime movie on & fell asleep on the couch.


We go to bike week every year!! We didn't go last year, cause just losing my Dad. We were all helping Mom. DH is working 10 hour days & supposed to work this weekend, so don't know if we will go or not. LOL I have the time but don't think he would like it if I went myself!
I got Joker's gloves fixed yippiee!! Than one of the girls took me to lunch & asked me if I could work at the salon on Saturday's??? Hummmm NO!!
After lunch I went back over to Joker's & we had a nice chat!!

Remember my stalker???? Oh my she got another DUI & they took her car!! Than had a choice to serve 30 days or rehab for 30 days. She choose the rehab & checked herself out after 14 days!. She had a fist fight with the girl who took me to lunch!! Yikes go back there to all that drama??? No thanks!

I need to WAKE UP!!

LOL Maizey!!! My luck the box would blow off or someone would steal it!! Get a silk flower to wrap around the antenna. Stick it in the glove box when you find your car!

Hi Roses!  A quickie! 

Pat, someone else asked and I haven't seen the answer. What is an Eliptical?  Sounds interesting!  I had to go to Kalamazoo once for two weeks so I left my car in long term parking. I always used to write in my planner the row and section cuze I'd forgotten before where I left it. Well, I got off the bus at the spot and it was gone. I walked all over and thought, someone stole it when this security guy drives up and tells me they had moved it!!! Towed it to another section because they had to resurface the lot.  Boy, was I pi$$ed!!! Couldn't they have left a sign or something? They had towed about 25 cars. My old car I could beep and it would tell me where it was so I've lost the Sante Fe several times.  No antennas on newer cars.....I like the box idea.

I agree about people trying out the diner.  If the service is like it was when you were there, Lynn, they won't stay. I would love to come down to scrap.  I think Tom wouldn't be so happy with that tho. I've been gone so much lately...but I'll think about it. Sounds like fun!

Gotta go to Portland for a birthday lunch.  See you all later God willing!

TGIF!!!!!!

Three 1st Communion Masses behind with one tomorrow morning and one Sunday evening....Classes are over for the year.....I ready to sit out by the pool on Mother's Day and sip margaritas until it is time to go to work for 1st Communion in the evening. 

I hope eveyone has been well.

Britt comes home tonight forthe summer. Sean had a blast at his prom.  I need to post some pictures.  My parents and in-laws arrive in about three weeks for Sean's graduation.  I am off to fix my lovely family a home-cooked meal.

Hi Rosies I really don't feel well so this is going to be short. I wanted to let you know that I won in court today so that's 2 wins out of 2 so far. I have to go back again because the opposing attorney didn't have evidence and neither did I on one of the merits of the case so.....back I go. The collections attorney actually helped me and was so nice to me - I think he thought I was cute. I caught him checking me out more than once.

Hi Rosies!

A beautiful day here!  I've been over to babysit the cutie while Mommy went to the chiropractor.  Just always seems to energize and make my day to be with him.  Now home by myself.  DH is working swing shift, DS#3 is in Portland at another debate competition, and DS#4 is helping some neighbors landscape their yard.  

Dianae, I look forward to the pictures.  Sounds like your life may slow down a bit.  Yippee!
