    What's cookin' on Mothers Day???

Happy Mothers Day to all the Mom's here & Happy Sunday to the rest of you!

DH & the youngest DS took me to breakfast this morning (the teenagers stayed in bed, LOL).

Nice buffet style, was very yummy.  There was one dish on there that was a casserole of sorts, bread on the bottom & top with apples and raisins and brown sugar in between.  Must have had an egg mixture poured over & baked.  Very tasty!

I've been working the flowers today, I have some boneless pork chops marinating for the grill later.

What's cookin in your world today?Big Smile

Sue, I am doing grilled burgers with all the trimmings and home made fries... and I made a couple pies for dessert... not too exciting but will be good!!!

Today I will have my "Alaska Mom" and her Cousin, my dad, DD and the King, DS and Ex all for dinner... so will be a fun day!

I'm happy to oblige!  It is a TOH recipe from the Dec/Jan 2000 issue.  The recipe calls for sole, but flounder works very well.

    This is delicious.

Happy Mothers' Day and Happy Sunday!

I tried to call my mom, but she wasn't home. Oh well.

    Tonight's dinner is tacos.

We cooked marinated pork chops & green beans on the grill and I baked a few potatoes to go along.  I was also able to harvest some chives to top the potatoes, YUM!

Hi everyone. The kids fixed tacos for dinner and made a Mississippi mud cake earlier for dessert. Its  probably been my best Mothers day yet.Smile

That's what we're having.  DS#1, DIL, and my grandbaby are on their way over.  Then all the boys and DH will fix dinner while DIL and I kiss up on the baby.

DH made a huge omelet for him, me and DD this morning and then did a leg of lamb for dinner - with green beans, potatoes Anna and ice cream and strawberries.  It was yummy!

We went out of town on Friday to see our son. He took us to a wonderful restaurant and then Saturday we shopped until we dropped. He lives in a large city and wow the sales were super! We had a wonderful trip home. All in all it was a fabulous Mother's Day. I hope everyones was very special too.
