    Mothers Day Discovery

Today, while looking out a window, I saw a nest in the p.willows that are nearly up against it. Mommas head was sticking up out of it (a deep cup design nest). I am pretty sure it is a robin. Can't believe she can squeeze into it!  Made me happy. I will be able to see the babies.

It's true that every time you hear a bell, an angel gets his wings. But what they don't tell you is, every time you hear a mouse trap snap, an angel gets set on fire.

Very cool!  We have a pair of robins in our tree too!  It's really sweet.  The male watches the nest during the day, and the female returns in the evening and takes over.  We also have a sparrow nest and two hummingbird nests that we discovered today--all in the same tree!

Mother Nature gave you a pretty cool Mother's Day gift, WF.  Happy Mother's Day to all 3 of you!
