Good morning all. Happy belated Mother's Day. I hope all had a wonderful day.

Well, here's my weekend in a nutshell. Friday I was totally useless!!! Go figure LOL. I slept until 5pm, was up until 7 then slept until 0830 Sat morning!!! Uff da. Taffy and I took a load of stuff to the new house then spent the day cleaning. At 3:30pm we back, I cleaned church then went to DB's for the party. I enjoyed myself but was I tired!!! I left about 10pm and crashed about 10:30pm. I got up yesterday morning around 0700 with a big day planned and out of the blue I got the suprise of the year - NSDD called around 0730 from where she had babysat and asked if I wanted to go for breakfast - her treat!!!!!!! I showered, went picked her up and we had brunch at a nice diner. I was shocked. Then I took her home, went home myself to do a bit of laundry and fell asleep for a couple hours. Uff da. I decided that it was pointless to fight it so Taffy and I spent a very lazy day watching 7th Heaven DVD's.  Yup, felt guilty only for about 5 seconds and then thought "I deserve it".

The house is coming. I've decided I'm being way too picky and need to get moving. I can do a lot of it after I get my things moved in. Then Taffy and I will be here and it'll be easier. Once that's done, I can clear out the other house.

Well, it's order night so better get crackin. Have a great day everyone!!!!

    Coffee Good Morning Everyone!!!  Coffee

Coffee   The coffee is not quite ready, but I grabbed a cup anyway!!  Coffee  Who needs a cup or two or three??  Coffee  No goodies to serve with it...maybe a hard boiled egg....LOL

Coffee   Good Morning Michelle!!! I would not hold up as good as you do working all those hours. I am sure the days off felt good, but were not quite long enough to catch up on your rest.  That was nice of NSDD to call you and take you out for breakfast on Mother's Day!!  I am glad you had a nice Mother's Day surprize with you DD.  She is going to miss you when you move. You did alot in the house last week and its true, you can get alot done when you are all moved in the house.

Coffee  Alice, glad the wedding was nice!!!   I am sure it was very beautiful and I am sure the food was great!!!  Did you make those Mushroom appy's??

Coffee  Doris, it is not really funny about the popsicle stick, but it is so typical....man!!! LOL  Maybe DH just sprained in finger....hope so.

Coffee   DD had a wonderful dinner last night. Grilled chicken and lots of veggies and salad!!  I ate way too much, but it was so good.  She made the best blueberry muffins with crumbs on top.  She got the recipe from TOH, so I am going to see if I can find the recipe.  DD is an excellent cook and just enjoys making dinners.....and we love to go eat!!  My little GD,Gabby, who is in first grade, is in the High School musical this year.  Gabby has a real nice voice and they picked her to be in the musical along with one child from each grade at school.  My other GD painted a pretty picture of her house.  She takes art lessons and is real crafty.  The picture she painted is really nice and I can see lots of pretty pictures being painted in the future.  My oldest GS is ready to go to New Orleans, almost all packed and very excited.  My son sent alot of pictures of Mattie, who is growing like a little weed. In one of the pictures she was laying on the cat....LOL  Mattie has the prettiest eyes. My other GS , Cody, lost his wallet at the park....this is the second wallet he has lost.  I guess he carries alot of money with him and its ashame he loses his wallet.

Coffee   Don't know what is up for today.....probably the usual cleaning or getting started cleaning...LOL Our weather is not too nice and is on the cold side, so I guess it is catch up in the house till the sun starts to shine again...LOL  So glad the computer is working!! Gosh I was in withdrawal without it!!!

Coffee   Wishing you ALL a GREAT Monday!!!  Wink

    Hugs,

Alice – The wedding sounds beautiful.  I'm glad everything went well.

Nancy – It sounds like you had a very nice Mother's Day.  Your house is going to look so pretty with all the plants and flowers.  The first time I did the Wii, I couldn't figure out how to release the bowling ball.  My niece had to show me.  It did take a little while to get used to.  And I did figure out how to line up the ball just right.  It is fun.

Doris – I can't believe your DH has been in pain for two days!  I hope everything goes okay with the Xray.  That's a good idea about the note on the coin jar.  Believe me, next time I will lock it in the trunk of the car.  I usually do, but I didn't Saturday.  Learned my lesson.

Michele – You got some good sleep, but you definitely deserved it.  You've been busy at work and super busy cleaning the house and church.  What a nice surprise NSDD gave you.  That was very nice of her.  Maybe she is finally coming around.

Mary – It sounds like you had a very nice Mother's Day at DD's house.  I'm sorry Cody lost his wallet.  Maybe he won't carry so much cash around now.

Not sure what is on my agenda today.  I have to get my walk in because I didn't walk yesterday at all.  But I will have to wear a jacket if I do it soon.  It is only 41 degrees.  I like to get it in early, otherwise, I forget to do it.
If I don't get back later today, I won't be here until later tomorrow.  I have to be at the hospital at 6:30 for tests.  So I will have to get up at 5:00 and that's after normally going to bed about 1:00.  I'm going to be very tired tomorrow.  Fortunately, I took the day off since I'm working this Saturday.

    Good morning, everyone.

    I see sun, Yippee!

MICHELE, you will be happy moving in and doing a little at a time. Happy to hear about the glimmer of kindness from DD.

MARY, don't forget to record some of Gabby's singing. And, also, frame a couple of pictures from the other GD. I did that with Robin's pictures, and my DD#2 has many of her clay pieces out around the house. And, Bradley gave us a framed print of one of his carvings from art class. They are as precious as a Van Gogh.

    JOYCE, jacket walking weather here, too. Good luck tomorrow with your tests. We'll be waiting to hear from you. {{{JOYCE}}}

Oh, DORIS, the popsicle stick got me, too. LOL I can just put Russell in your DH's place. I remember him smashing his thumb and relieving the pressure with a fine drill. Hope your DH's finger is not hurt too badly.

A list of errands to do, and my route is all planned. A couple places around here have gas at 4 bucks a gallon.

    Morning....

Stopping in to say HI ... then heading over to mom's.  Birthday dinner is at noon, sharp!   I just talked to her and she says it smells good...  the cabbage rolls are bubbling and the pork roast is smelling good.    Her house is full of slow cookers and they are all doing their thing.

So I won't be home much later so don't expect me too early.

MICHELE - that is an awesome story - that NSDD took you for brunch at her request.  I am thrilled for you.

OK, Rebecca is at the door waiting for me.  SYAL

    Good Evening Everyone!!!    Wink

Hauke, you have all of us so hungry for cabbage rolls!!!  I was thinking cabbage rolls while at the grocery store this weekend, but didn't see the leafy kind of cabbage I like to use.  I might plant a few heads of cabbage to make some cabbage rolls and slaw in the garden.  I will have plenty of room.

Joyce, it was too cold here to walk and too rainy. Clearfield, some 25 miles from us had snow. Enough snow that they had to treat the roads....LOL Just imagine!! LOL  I loved your hummingbird flag....that was neat!!

Nancy, hope you got all the errands done.  Gas at $4 a gallon is crazy!! Ours is $3.72 here in Kersey and $3.69 in town or it was last night at last check.

Didn't do much today, but it was an okay day.  The nurse discharged Ron from home care and sad to say, the Telecare unit will be going bye bye soon too.  I have come to really like that machine and the monitoring it does daily. Guess Ron is cured!!! I felt alot better to have that Telecare unit in the house and Ron's BP monitored daily, but its good that Ron is doing better too.

Doris, did you save Dh a popsicle stick??? Never a dull moment, is there?  I hope his finger is not broken.

Last night at DD's, Mom said grace. In her prayer was something about blessing people less fortunate and Mom, added something like, "we all know there are many people who need alot of help".  We kept our eyes closed thinking she wasn't done praying and that she was going into a much longer prayer.  She was finished.  When we opened our eyes....she was eating.....LOL

Wishing you ALL a GREAT Evening!!!  Lets all Dance with the Stars tonight!!!!!  LOL

    Hugs,

    Mary

    Hello All!

I am preparing for my final tomorrow. I have an "A" going into it. I am so looking forward to a break from studies. Please wish me luck and say a prayer or two...my final is from 2:30 -4:30.

I've missed popping in here, hope all is well. We are pretty good here. Paige's baby brothers have been better though. Matthew (7-months old) spent Friday night in the E.R. He was given an antibiotic Thursday for an ear infection and it looks like he is allergic to penicillin products. His whole body turned rashy and red and his legs swelled severely and were taught and shiny red. Poor guy! Then Isaac had a stomach virus with a high fever all of Saturday, and he was still not quite with it yesterday.

Here's a big hug to all. I better get back to studying.

    Rebecca
