PRODUCT REVIEW: Bertoli Five Cheese Jarred Pasta Sauce

I bought it on the recommendation of Cooks Country, which I subscribe to.  They tested several jarred pasta sauces and this one came out on top.

I always "cheat" with my spaghetti sauce because I'm just too lazy to make my own.  I was buying Ragu, which my mother used also, and I've tried several others, but this one tops them all.

    YUM!

    Not nobody.
    Not no how.

I usually make my own sauce, but I do keep some jars on hand for emergencies. Bertoli is my favorite brand. I've never tried the Five Cheese.

I like Bertolli but I usually doctor it up a bit with fresh chopped tomatoes or more oregano or a splash of wine or something.  My store often has this brand on sale or BOGO Free, so I stock up then.  Can't remember the last time I paid full price for it.

I was a paul Newman fan forever... but tried Hunts Pasta sauces in the CAN... this stuff is the best!! It is the cheapest I often get it for $1 a can.. and it tastes like homemade.. no doctoring needed!!!

I also am a Hunts girl!  However I throw in a can of diced tomatoes juice and all.  In fact I make a big batch with mushrooms and hamburger and freeze the other half.  Dinner tomorrow!
