Good Morning gkids..Cute kittys there.  I have been lucky that my critters have never chewed my shoes or slippers.  Cound it be because  I keep a lot of doggie toys laying around?  Kozi did chew on the shoe of an over night guest one time. She never did again and that was a first. The shoe was new and had that new smell so maybe thats why she did that one time.  Dozie likes to chew tissue but other wise leaves things alone. They like the solf stuffed toys which they will tear to pieces. Forget the hard ropes and toys.  They hardly get noticed.

I do not mind the rain as long as its not storming and lightning...I am grateful its not snow....

Hi Critter People!

Cute pictures...all of them.   About the chewing problem.  Sometimes pet toys are made out of the same fabric our pillows, shoes, and sofa's are made out of.  Fido doesn't know the difference.  All Fido knows is: 'Hey, I'm allowed to chew this...yippie!"   I had a pet sitting client who had a dog that chewed her couch (actually I've had a few of those clients) and I told her to change the toys.  She didn't believe me  and would not do it so instead the dogs ended up sitting in a cage all day long with no toys.   Go figure?

widdle..I am doing great...almost feel like a 23 yr old woman..HaHa

Like I said Kozi and Dozie only like soft toys..I am lucky that they never chew other soft things

EXCEPT Dozie likes to chew tissue..But I blame that on luvadash..When she had him and he was a young pup she let him fish the dryer sheets out of the laundry basket and tear them up. It was a game they played.  Here he does not get that so he goes after tissues if they are where he can get em...Never out of the box...Just if they are laying around....

A lot of dogs like things that smell like their owners, especially leather shoes!  Hope everyone has a great weekend.  It is over 100 degrees here and I am hopeful the heat will subside before Pilgrim's agility class at noon on Sunday!

doodle and MC  Its a cool 58 degrees here and damp from raining earlier...Both my window coolers are still covered from the winter...I only opened a window once so far since I was told its Spring....Most days I am still wearing my sweats....I think Spring has passed me by...

MC...I love that signature so very very much......More each time I see it......and the smiley just tops it off......

Can you tell I am green with envy...LOL

Snickers is special because she was one of a litter that was rescued from a "puppy mill" in a poor situation. She was the last of her litter and we drove six and a half hours to get her. She was worth every minute!     She has been a great addition to our household. She has a delightful personality... she is warm and very affectionate, always like to be in same room with us. She is five months old and we have only had her for a little while. Despite her sad start in life, we have her almost completely housebroken and she sits on command. We are now working on down and giving back toys when we play fetch. She is great with my son and his friends. Her milk chocolate color gets compliments everywhere we go.

i got the rest results back on pepper..he has a low blood red cell count..he needs a blood transfusion..which is very expensive and thier's a possiblily that he won't survive being put under..because he's heart is so weak..so the vet said..just to make him feel comfortable and give him lots of attention..he's not allowed to take walks..keep him calm..he does not have any kidney problems..he also needs another round of testing..to see if he has cancer..or other diseases...the vet said..he only has a year left to live..pepper is beginning to have trouble with his back..he loses his balance..sleep most of the day..we have to carry him up and down the stair's..it's really sad..but he's very old..so now i have to call my friend who gave me pepper since she could know longer care for him..she's going to be so upset....i guess it's just a matter of time now..

Doodle- I loved that she was a rescue Love the name also! Remember when Kozy asked about names? The people who rescued came up with the perfect name for her huh?
