Good Morning and Happy Friday... Gonna be another Hot one here in CA.... I love the heat.. It was 97 in the shade yesterday at 5:00PM when I got home....

Looks as if it will be a beautiful day here and supposedly a beautiful weekend.  I hope so because I need to do some yard work. 

Hi.  Toasty at my place too.  I didn't go to bed until nearly midnight because it took that long for the temperature in our bedroom to get down to 80.

Today looks to be even hotter.  It was in the mid-70s by 7am today.

So if I get some fruit at the farmer's market, would it be totally wrong to make icecream for dinner?

 I think fruit would make a lovely topping for homemade ice cream.  Although it's not quite blueberry season, I also a great receipe for blueberry crunch ice cream...I'll try to dig it up for you!

Good morning! A lovely day here. May get another 70º day. We have a soccer tournament for both kids this weekend. The weather looks like it will continue through the weekend. So much nicer sitting in 70º weather than 40º or 90º.

Welcome to the ilk LBrouse! I'd be interested in that blueberry crunch ice cream recipe although it's not blueberry season here either. 

Thanks, LBrouse.  That sounds interesting.  We got a big carton of cream so I could continue my experiments in butter-making, but with it so hot I'm leaning toward frostier uses.

I'm at my office right now, but will post it this evening here when I get home.

Bride my kids used to love when it got really HOT...those were Ice cream for dinner nights!! I figured it was at least dairy and fruit!  Supposed to be near 100 here today too... think it is the whole west coast.....

i.m. my gurl and than went fishin, even had my coat off !!

while we were i'm ing somebody kept poppin on my screen with a little pic of themselves, i asked my gurl who toni was she says i dunno why, than she asked me who she was LOL

 i had to change puters so we could talk

somebody had put like a myspace page into my fave puter, and it kept havin her i.m. buddies poppin up, sheesh.
