    chicken sandwich at McD's....

Did anyone try the free 'southern style chicken' sandwich yesterday? I did and liked it pretty good for fast food! LOL! Much better than the 'crispy' chicken sandwich IMO....

What's with this "southern" phase lately?  McDonald's has it and so does Arby's.  The latter has a chicken sandwich with pickle slices.  Is that what it take to consider it "southern"?

    Just say NO to B.O.

The breading on the sandwich is different, maybe more like Chik-fil-A???? the chicken is more tender IMO..... Not  a whole bunch of breading on it like the other sandwich....

I tried it yesterday also and thought it was much better than their other chicken sandwiches.

I didn't get the free chicken but I did get the free iced coffee at Dunkin Donuts!

I do have a hard time with the idea of chicken for breakfast though. Ick!

DH got the free chicken sandwich at lunch and I ran down and picked one up for dinner. We both liked them. Because they were cooking so many, mine was nice and fresh.

I tried one today for lunch.  I really liked it.  Since we don't have a Chick fil A near us it is the next best thing.

I did once when I had a free coupon for it. It was OK. Ijust usually get things off the value menu. A buck. LOL

We stopped at Burger King. I thought you got a sticker for a medium drink, but, apparently not. Must be just a value meal.

Anyway, was disappointed they don't have the regular chicken sandwich anymore on the value menu. Just the spicy. I just got a Whopper Jr.

The chicken was good and tender.  The pickles were ridiculous.  And would it be to much to ask for a little mayo???

Yes, seems like I remember it being a bit dry. It has been awhile since I got it. Theyhad a free c/o when they first come out. Are there more free c/o's for them.?

I do like the crispy one.
