Wow, it doesn't happen often that I get to open the door. I'm done with one set of fives, couldn't sleep so I got up. The dishwasher and washer are running too. Hubby is still sleeping, he's tired so I thought he should just sleep in. I have stuff spread all over the place, so I may as well pick it up. I dug out some scrapbooking stuff and need to pick it up. We are going to spend the day in the yard and planting the flower boxes. I guess the garden is a go, I wasn't planning on one, but I am out of salsa and this is the request for it I think. Anyway, I'll see if I can find anything to add to the coffee. Talk to you in a bit, I'll try to be quiet and not wake anyone up. Blessed be, have a Sonny day. L

Well iwill be quiet in th ehood but no need to be here nobody is asleep Lady told me it was time to go outside and all the others came along.

I may swipe some of your coffee as I have not made mine yet. I need to go do that I have loaded the dishwasher I was bad and let my dishes sit last night. I want to start a load of laundry also then I will do important stuff like my nails and such stuff. I have the need for a female day LOL. Watch out legs here comes the razor.

We had a little sprinkle in the night but it did not amount to much. It is supposed to only get into the 60's today but it is to be the best day of the weekend.

    Good morning, grannies.

Boy, did I sleep. Nine hours of it may just keep me going, today.

LAURIET, you have more going than I, but my list starts with laundry and emptying the dishwasher. I think you will enjoy your garden's production and your family will love more salsa,

MJ, I will be quiet along with you and your "kids". Outside work here, also. We'll use your coffee and I have English muffins and jam and PB. The fruit bowl is ready, too.

It's a home day, and I will have no problem finding more to do.

    Bloom where you are planted.

Good Morning everyone. I can't believe how busy I have been, and I'm up early and bed late. My dd2 and I went to Northwood college and look that over for her. She really wants to go there, it's a small privet college and only 1 1/2 hours away.  Last night was a girls night out, had a lot of fun, tonight is a night out with John and his friends going somewhere? So trying to get lots of fun in before this class starts up.

Looks like it's going to be a nice day here. Hope everyone has a great week- end.

Good Morning! Looks like lots of Grannies are up and running already. I went to bed at 8:30  last night and woke up when it was bright at 5:30, but dozed off for another hour. Now I've been up and washed up last nights supper dishes. Hate to leave them but was too worn out to worry. Now I have a cup of coffee at hand to further revive me! Outside to work later, but we must have had some sprinkles overnight. The grass looks wet and so is the deck, but the sidewalk is dry. I guess I can find something to do in here until it all dries up!  Smile

Laurie, you'll enjoy the garden, I'm sure.

MJ, sounds like my house at your place today! Dirty dishes and sprinkles.

Nancy, I had 10 hours, so should be able to keep up with you!

Rita, have all the fun you can while you are "free".

I'll just sit here and sip for a few minutes. DH won't be up for another hour probably.

Stylist  the classes start at the end of July, that is the first I can get into, but that is fine with dd graduation and getting her ready to go up north for the sumer. The classes are in G.R. so that will be a drive and gas, but I have to look at it as investment to a job.

Nancy English Muffins here today also. I think I will have a poached egg on mine. I liked your saying. When I retired one of the volunteers in our Dept made me a small counted Cross stich hanging that says Bloom where God planted you. It hangs here near my computer.

Rita when do the classes start and how long do they last? I know you will do fine. Let me guessw Ibet you are a little nervous about taking classes again.

Stylist the Today show is on here in my cave and coffee is in hand. Well all of those girly things are kind of nice. I remember as a child thinking how lucky I was not to have been born male. I still feel that way. Poor guys they don't have the good stuff we have LOL. Their clothes are really boring. One good thing men have is the company of women they are lucky after all LOL .

Yes Lily it sure does sound like my house but now the sun is up and bright in the sky. Looks to be a good day. Well my first cup is almost gone so think I will go fix my breakfast. It appears that Jeff is not up yet at least he is not online yet. Guess I will drink my coffee alone this morning LOL.

Rita I know you are excited to get started but this gives you most of the summer with your kids. Wow last one graduateing. When is graduation and the party?

Good Morning all, its sunny and 71 here. Someone ask if I would have wives to talk to. Most of the people that belong to the club are couples. Some of the wives have their own trains that they run. In the summer time the meetings are on Sat. That way every one can bring their trains and run them. The house that the meeting is at have layouts in their yards. DH is still planning his layout so long as he doesn't have one we won't have a meeting here.

Suzi, I get the Kraft magazine.

Have a great day everyone.  Jan

    Re: Grannie Neighborhood May 17

Good morning everyone!  I'm a bit earlier than usual, too.  Thanks for the coffee and english muffins, I'm making French Toast to share.  Our store had eggs on sale for 99 cents a dozen, so we bought several dozen.  By the way, I make my French toast in the oven; just put some butter on a cookie sheet to melt while the oven heats, then dip the bread (I'm using whole wheat because that's what we had out) in the egg batter and bake on the buttered cookie sheet at 375.  Crisp on the outside and soft on the inside--that's the way we like it and I can take my shower while it's baking.  I make grilled cheese in the oven, several at a time, too!  We're going to have brown-n-serve sausage to go with it.

Beautiful day here, hubby has lots of tractor and equipment work planned to get things ready for hay season.

Good morning, ATV, good night's sleep for you!

Lakemom, I know you're going to make a great CNA--patients will be lucky to have you.

    Lauriet--have a good day outside

Lily--no burning on the schedule for today?

    Stylist--good morning to you!

MJ--wish I could quit biting my nails to get them presentable!  Careful with the shaving of legs--I usually nick myself!

By the way, I got the June/July TOH in the mail yesterday with a note about my kitchen being on page 54.  I think I like the pictures on the website better than the ones they put in the magazine and I always hate pictures of me, but it was exciting nonetheless!

We have a graduation/confirmation party at BIL's who live right behind us tonight.  Repair man for DISH network is on his way--our dish went out this week, probably something to do with all the wind and rain we've had.  Eli is coming up so I get my grandma fix for a couple of days!  Have a wonderful day, my friends.

Good Morning All - going to be a bright, sunshiny day here!

Having my coffee and need to get the paper read then off to the bookstore for a full day of work - with colleges out they were short handed this weekend.  Really don't miss the traffic though!

Hope all have a good day - doing whatever makes you happy!

     Good morning

I'm up, dressed and have had soft cooked eggs on toast for breakfast too. Buddy didn't wake up so early today, but got up when he heard Mark. So Mark took care of them. Liza was hiding in our room when Mark shut the door so around 6:30 Buddy barked at the door and woke me up. I laid until 7 or so.

Last night I had the furnace fan on and the heat off so I slept good. Would like to have slept longer though. hehe It was cloudy when I got up but the clouds have broken up. The temp is 58º too.

The usual Saturday stuff, cleaning and sheets. It's suppose to be windy so the sheets should dry nicely, but it will get dusty again as fast as I dust. Oh well, sure better than two layers. hehe

i hope that everyone has a great day.

    Good ,morning everyone!

I've been up since 4:30, in the woods, heard some but no luck, back home and have read the paper, did the puzzles, vacuumed the bedrooms, dusted two so far, and have one more and then I'll do the bathroom, livingroom and kitchen.  Hope to be done with this work by noon.  DH is away at the tree farm putting up a building so hope he doesn't come home until I'm done.  It is supposed to rain this after noon so they will probably try to get as much done as possible.

DGD are coming tonight.  Don't know if I'll have the other two come over or not.  Depends what mood I'm in.  If I get a nap in before they come, maybe I'll call the other two.

I didn't make it here last night either.  Was also in the woods.  At least I'm getting exercise.  Up over the ridge, down the other side half way.  Sit for a while and back up over the ridge to the other side.  Did that this morning too.

Well I'd better move.  Told myself I was only allowed till 10 o'clock and then I had to move again.  Hopefully by 11 I'll have it all done but the kitchen and I can take another break.  If I make it back then, I'll bring along some gobs.
