Yup, its Saturday and I slept in. But I would have slept in on any day..lol..How will you spend your week end? How are your critters doing? How did the snip snip go? It still damp and rainy here. Not pouring but that wet drizzle all day kind. Well if your not out and about come on in and chat.

Hope everyone has a great saturday. hubby and I have 3 different things to go to today, and I think we are both trying to see if we can avoid them. that won't work though lol. big Hello to everyone who poips in.

Good Saturday Morning All!

I was busier than I like to be yesterday.  I didn't even get a chance to pop in to say "hi". 

Our new house guest moved in late last night.  I feel pretty bad for him.  He has a very large growth on his back leg.  He will get good attention here.  I just made an appointment for him with our wonderful vet, for next week.  We put two big dog beds together on our garage floor for him to sleep.  Our garage is temperature controlled and we leave the door open so he can come in and out of our house.  He has a hard time walking, but I'm hoping we can make his quality of life better with a trip to the vet.  I'll post a picture this weekend.

I thought Libby would be the problem with a new dog, but Sammie was the pain.  She wanted to eat his food and try to play.  Libby just ignores him.

luvadash, I've missed you around here!  Gee, I've missed being around here! lol  If both you and hubby are trying to avoid your chores, I bet you'll be successful, lol.

Kozy, sleeping in is one of the joys of Saturday for me.  It was sprinkling when I got up this morning but the sun is shining and the birds are singing so all is well in my part of Indiana.

It's taken me awhile to write this as I kept getting called away from my computer.  So I'm waving hi to all who have stopped in since luvadash.

Good morning all.    Just popping in for a few.  We have a wedding this afternoon and then the reception will be tonight. 

Our neighbor just stopped and said they would be done for a week, if any of us are going to be gone for any length of time we tell one of our neighbors so we can keep an eye on things so nothing happens.  It's a very peaceful, safe area but one never knows.

Welcome back luva, we've missed you and Kozy said you've been really busy and sounds like today is still going to be another busy day for you.  Will you be glad to see Monday roll around.  Sometimes I feel that way, things tend to settle down here after the week-end is over.

Hi AF, missed you on here as well.    Do you not know what the growth is on your house guests leg.  Hope he is settling in.  Now don't you just know it, the one you think will be no problem always seems to be the trouble maker......Do you still have both of your dogs on diets?  Maybe that's why Sammie was trying to eat the food.  Also probably different kind and she wanted to sample it. 

Have to give my outside plants some water, birds some bath water and more food so best get going.  Wedding is early afternoon and by the time I finish up that and a few other things it'll be time to leave.  Have a good day everyone.

For the most part, Sammie is leaving him alone, but she's just so darned curious.  She keeps going out in the garage and sniffing around.  I have to put his food up so she won't get it.  She's such a chow hound!  Yes, she's still on a diet and looks great, but she was a chow hound before she started on the diet.  I chalk it up to her life on the streets before doggy jail.  She's very good at opening a pizza box with her nose, even if the box is closed properly.  She was working on popping off the food bin lid to our new guests food tub.  Did I mention his name?  His name is Scuba.  Sammie will sample anything.  My dh says we need underground fencing around our countertops! lol.

Mornin' all! The "snip snip" went fine, they even snipped his nails! LOL! He's still a little unsteady, must be a little painful walking.

I'm so glad things went well.  Wow, neutered and manicured, what more could you ask for?! lol

 well I got out of going to one thing, hubby is on his way there now lol. it is good to be back and chat with friends. angel_food your new house guess has a sweet face. he is a big boy. is he just a house guess? or maybe perminute in time? I have missed whats going on lol.

Kozy, summer hiding sounds good to me, but thats like having a wish list that never comes true. my daughters babysitter got mad and up and quit, the same day we had the funeral for my MIL...that leaves me and the other grandma for now. they are checking into day cares and things but it makes it real hard right now, for everyone!. the regular sitter was always calling off at the last minute on her and would do other annoying things. I told my daughter that actually when things get settled and stuff she will be glad that sitter is gone, and she agreed with me, just getting threw until things are settled back down is the hard part. try to be back later.

He's a guest.  However, he's not doing very well so this may be his last place of residence.  We'll see what our doc has to say about it.

Wow, you didn't need that did you?  With gas prices the way they are, is it cheaper for your daughter to stay home than have to pay a sitter/daycare and travel to work?  I wish her luck and I wish you lots of energy while picking up the slack!

Angel...Sammie sounds like Dozie when it comes to food..I have to put Kozi's bowl up if she does not eat it all.  And if she does he goes over there anyhow and licks the carpet where her bowl sets...geez..Scuba is lucky to have you. I hope the vet can help him so his last days will be happy days.
