Not good here, I've been trying for 1 1/2 hours to get on here - slow and then won't post. Then I see one I started and wanted to correct,  posted. Hope the spelling police don't show up here. LOL

Its quite cool and damp here and will be most of day. Would not want to be a camper in this neck of the woods

Off to church with my goodies. Got 2 loads of laundry done and probably iron after church. Its so windy stuff flying all over the place.

Everyone have a great day - hope this post - cause I'm not trying again. LOL

I know what you mean Crea, it's so very slow. I have been trying as well and it's as slow as molasses in January.

I'm feeling a tad bit better my sinuses are starting to dry up and my sneezes seems to be gone..

It's a cool wet morning here, what gives with the weather, the flowers are much slower to bloom.

Cathy, your always up early even on a Sunday, my problem is I have to go to the little girls room. Once I 'm up that is it for me.

Last night when we went to bed we heard fireworks, it's suppose to be tomorrow.

Katie how nice of you to look after your DGD, she must worship you, I bet she misses you being in their own house.

I'll try to hit post to see if it works.

 good morning.......well, take my dial up and add a VERY SLOW TASTE OF HOME BOARD.......and it is horrible this morning. this might be my one and only post !!!!

i think my GD is a bit mixed up. this is the only house she has know her whole life!!  she did not forget a thing, and hit all the right cupboards. lol

just folding laundry. last load is in the dryer and i am off to do some sorting.......a never ending thing around here for me.........sigh

my good news? i am going to a concert tonight!! yippee!! we are heading to the usa to see my favourite band in concert!!! a friend of mine got lucky and one two free tickets on the radio!!!

however, i am hoping that i might be on a  free guest pass list............haha

the band has been on tour since thursday, down in the states somewhere, i forget where they went this weekend.  so i hope my favourite lead singer/composer is saving his voice a bit for tonight!!!

i usually cry through the first set..........just such a proud mom :))

YF- the meds you got yesterday must be kicking in now. Just wish this board would kick in- they must be doing maintenance and don't think us early birds would be posting.

Good morning!!  Thought I'd pop in and say hi before I head to work.  Had to work Sat /Sun and have Monday off.  I would have just as soon worked all three since it screwed up my week end anyway.  But oh well!!

Good morning you other Sunday "early birds".  Crea;  I was beginning to think my computer was crashing or something......   but here I am.

 I noticed a re-arrangement of the "Groups",  and it looks klike our CC is ##1 the way it is set up to get on here.  That should get some nebies on here eh?

Looks like our hot droughty summer has begun already and no rains.....and not real Spring yet.  Right from winter into summer.

DH planted most of our Brandywine tomatoes yesterday. I sure hope it's not going to dip into the 'minus' again. I only have 4 more flowerbeds to do,  but can't start until afternoon today.  Going to our meeting this morning.  I'm sure DH will want to finish the garden tomorrow (veggie seeds and pepper transplants).

Sharon;  I know what you mean when you say you might as well worked 3 days as the week-end was spoiled anyway.  Our DD in NC says the same when she is nursing.

I'm sure Char and Pat are enjoying their camping.  Dolores,  hope you're getting over that health problem quickly.  Everyone will be missing you around town doing all your 'projects'.

Meesh;  What's on your week-end with the family?  Do you like camping ?  I prefer trailering to camping in tents (olden days).  Now the tents look like condos.   smile

Now this time I got in the first time I tried.

What a wacky weekend the weather doesn't know what to do from sunshine to rain back to sun etc. etc.

I watch an older movie this afternoon, "The Patriot" with Mel Gibson, I enjoyed it.

hello everyone,

Well, the board was working fine when I was first on here this morning.  But when I tried to get on about an hr ago, it wouldn't let me in. Error message that it wasn't connecting to the page....

Maybe I will be able to sleep in tomorrow. I won't be able to do much else as there is a planned power outage from 7-10am tomorrow.  Kinda throws a wrench into any plans.  And it is supposed to rain.  Can't even go out and play in the garden.

Well, off to cook some dindins.  Managed to find a few fiddleheads today and I have to clean them before cooking dinner.
