Good Morning My BB Friends

Well, I already have a pork tenderloin and dressing in the crockpot and did the dishes before I went to bed last night, so hopefully I can get on with it today.

Good Morning, Friends!

The spring temperatures are climbing for Memorial Day weekend.... we may actually hit 80 degrees on Sunday or Monday in southwest Michigan! The extra baking is finished, and a birthday care package is on its way to my son. I sent some of the Snickerdoodle Vanilla Dreams cookies, and hope they were not too crispy to survive the trip. We also had a lovely time with my husband's brother, sister-in-law and family. They'll be in town until mid-June.

In the last ten days we rode the roller coaster with our youngest son. His promised job suddenly disappeared (he was employed with the company last year). Yesterday, he received a call from another company. "Can you come to work now?" It is part-time, but should work out very well. What a blessing!

 We left here at 4:30 last night for grandsons ball game and didn’t get back until 10 ~ GS or not that’s close to watching paint dry….need to water plants.

Florida (North and South) are having huge fires….BeeJ have you heard from Connie? Lots of flooding in the Idaho area…wonder if Marcia is getting that in Washington?

I agree, this board has been a pain yesterday and last night. If it's like that today, I'm just going to turn this thing off and not waste time trying to get on all day.

Good Morning Everybody!

Beware - I'm crabby this morning so I'd just back away slowly - then run!  LOL  I ended up getting to bed after midnight which was NOT the plan at all!  Thankfully I didn't sleep through the alarm a few hours later or I would've been in hot water! 

Today is starting out MUCH better than yesterday - the phones are ringing but at a more leisurely pace, my telephone's working perfectly, and the sun is due to shine all day with a temp of 64.  Life will be good today!  LOL 

Tonight I'll probably sleep through DD's scholarship presentation program as it starts at 7:00 and will run about 2 to 2-1/2 hours according to the lady that I talked to at the school this morning.  UGH!  I wish that she could just do the "grab & go" thing, but I guess that that'd be a bit disrespectful now, wouldn't it?  LOL  Oh well, I'm sure that I'll manage, it's my own fault that I don't find my pillow when I should.

Did Karen make it back yet?  I haven't seen her, wasn't she supposed to be back on Sunday?

Yep this board been way slow... And when I come on the Page has changed for me.. dont know about everone else..

DH got in last nite.. long run almost 1000 miles round trip.. hes pooped out for sure.. Dont know yet what they have planned for him today or tonite..

Yes Crea - As hard as it is to believe *gag*, I'm a real crab today!  Things are getting better though - I've at least gotten a laugh this morning from one of the contractor's, so that's a GOOD thing!  LOL

bdett - DD's graduation ceremony is on June 1st even though school gets out on the 29th.  What's kind of odd is that the Seniors always got out a few days before the rest of the grades, apparently they don't do that anymore.

Like everyone else, I couldn't get back on last night either, so I watched 2 & 1/2 Men & fell asleep. 

I brought the kids to school and then went for a nice brisk walk.  I didn't go as far as I normally go, because of my foot, but I did go further than I thought.  Therapy later, so we'll see how I am today (after going for a walk). 

I'm going to make a homemade pizza tonight w/my leftover tomato sauce.  I'm not sure if my brother ate all of the meatballs, if he didn't, I'll slice them up for the topping, if he ate them all, then we'll have a plain cheese pie.  We'll have salad too.
