    Grannie Chat - May 22

Good Morning Grannies. A beautiful day on tap, 45* now, going to mid 60s and the forecast is only getting better through the weekend. It is about time! Possible showers and t-showers on Monday.  Rise and Shine with the bountiful sunshine and enjoy a cup of coffee with me as we gaze at the wonders of God's world.

Good Morning Lily we have the same weather and the same forcast. I will sit with you and sip my coffee also. Had a nice evening last night but now I am ready to take a break from bowling. Tomorrow Nancy and I will do our annual flower shopping and lunch out. Today I will start putting my screened in porch together for the summer. As always there plenty of 5's to do I think I will start with the dishwasher. Ok I read last nights posts I don't fit in no crooked fingers and my ring size is still the same. Can I stay anyway? I hope it never changes with well over 100 rings it would be a shame not to be able to use them. LOL. My kids can't wear my rings their hands are bigger than mine. Well the first cup is empty time to get more.

     Good Morning...

A cloudy day and possibly some rain.  Also still a cool day at only 60º.

The preschool graduation went very well last night.  Those little kids sure can clean up nice...all dressed up.  Now it's sad to think I won't be seeing many of them next year as they go off to kindergarten.  Only a few will attend our kindergarten.  Today is cleaning day at school, then we are done for the summer.

I'm waiting to hear from DS as to when he will be back here....either tonight or tomorrow was his plan.

Prayers and hugs to all those in need.  Hope Alby is feeling better.  I'll check in later.............

Good Morning Ladies - I'm happy loooking out to sunshine also this morning.  Doesn't that just start the day out on the right foot?

Maple & Brown Sugar Oatmeal and banana's for breakfast, if anyone cares to join me.

CJ, I'm sure those little ones were darling - It's fun to see them all dolled up.  Have fun meeting the new GF.

A screen porch sounds so nice, MJ - I've thought of doing that with my deck, but for now, I'm not doing anything.  Also thought of tearing it off, and having a cement patio, which would put me at a different level than the deck next door.  They are to close, in my opinion, so don't go out there much - However, that isn't the only reason-it's on the west, and it gets hot out there at the time of the day that I would be out there.  I usually go to the front porch facing the east, when I sit out.

Well, on to my day. Hope you all have a good one, and prayers for our sick and hurting friends.

    Good morning

Hmmm, no rain in the forecast just sunny skies. But it's gloomy and mild this morning. I stayed home today for a much needed mental health day. Embarrassed  I hope the sun comes out and the gray skied disappear.

Buddy didn't want to sleep in so neither could I. I've got lots I would like to do but didn't want to start this early. hehehe Maybe by the time I wake up the sun will be out.

Thanks for the homemade bread and jam Apple. I hope all goes well for SO at the doctor today. Good luck at WM too.

Oh sure Buddy gets me up and now he's sleeping. I think I'll keep him from napping for a bit and be a mean mommy. LOL

    Have a sonny day all.

Good morning to everyone,  the weather is nice here too but the weekend will be even nicer with warmer temps!!  I'm going to school this morning then want to spend some time outside this afternoon.

GREENBACK  Maple and Brown sugar oatmeal is my favorite too and that's what I'm having for breakfast too.  Have a great terrific day.

MAMMA  Smart grannie! staying home to get a break from the madness you work with.  Enjoy your four footed friends and do something just for you!!

APPLE  A busy morning for you.  Here's hoping your SO's tests all turn out well and that you find a bargain on the braces for your wrists.  Squeeze Lil Apple for me! lol

CJ  It sounds like your event last night was a success!!  I can tell you're excited to see your DS and meet his GF!!  Enjoy it!!

LILY  Oops, sorry, I also brought the posts over.  Oh well, at least we all get to enjoy them.  Have a great day and do enjoy the sunshine!  Double oops, I just read your apology too.  LOL

MJ  You sound like a bundle of energy this morning.  Do you bowl a summer league?  Don't work too hard and enjoy the straight fingers.  LOL

Waiting for DH to wake up. I have made my bed, tidied up around here, washed a load of jeans/pants and hung outside and now let Goldie upstairs to wake him. She is up there crying loudly and now I can hear him moving! Mean, aren't I? Smile

MJ, how did the ice cream bar go over last evening? What else was there to eat?

CJ, I think you might be a bit anxious to meet the new GF?

Jane, sorry you forgot your appt.

Apple, I'm hoping to go down to WM today.

Mamma, hard to believe no bright sunshine there. It woke me at 5:15!

Stylist, I spend ALL my time outdoors now! Been inside much toooooooooo long! It was chilly sitting on the deck, but I'll suffer instead of staying in! It is up to 50* already.

Back outside for me. If I can get DH moving quickly, maybe we'll make it down to McD's for breakfast! Smile

Jane my screened in porch is on the west side also . It opens into my dining room with french doors. Once the weather gets warmer those doors will always be open, even when it rains unless it is a driveing rain it does not get into the dining room.

Cjayh I bet those little guys were so cute and that you and the others were as proud of them as their parents were. Are you getting excited to meet the GF. I sure hope you like her. I would think if your son likes her you will like her.

Stylist no summer league the bowling ball is on a hiatus lol . I did get a trophy last night for that high game Ihad earlier this year. I feel I earned it lol . I may do oatmeal for breakfast also but no brown sugar but maybe raisins.

Mamma enjoy the day off let it be practice for the summer.  Now everytime Buddy lays down for a little snooze call him wake him up keep him agitated lol .

Ok somehow I lost my grannie thing so can't go back until I post . Time for some breakfast and then on to bigger and better things.

     Goooood Morning, Grannies!!

Another sunny, nippy day. Beautiful weather these days if ony it would get a little warmer. Always need at least a sweatshirt as the breeze is cold.

Lily, surprised to see you open the door. I'll watch God's world from inside this morning. So good to hear that Marv got a good report from the dr.

MJ, I will join your group of straight fingers. I am still wearing the same rings DH gave me almost 48 years ago.Only time I have been without them was the last time I was PG. Then they got to tight. A couple years ago I got stung on that finger by a hornet. I almost had to get them cut off that time. The rings, not the fingers. Big Smile

Cjayh, After today it will take you a day or two to get in the groove of what to do when you don't have to go to school. Though you have DS's visit to help you over the change over. Wink

Jane and Lauriet, Waving as you rush passed.

    Apple, thanks for breakfast.

Mamma, It sounds like you need a mental health day after the last couple of days.

Stylist, It is good you can copy and paste on here. Can you drop over and see if you can get it so I am able to do that?

Not sure what is happening here today. Duke is coming and I have to take him to school later. But I may not go grocery shopping as I hate doing that when the store is crowded. May just do what catched my eye.

DH just said he wants to take the basket of flowers to the cemetary. How come when I mentioned it yesterday he said we would do it on Friday. And they say women can't make up their minds.Hmm
