    Re: S Swap Received

You know how there are just some days when all you get in the mailbox is junk? Well, this was one of those days. BUT, the front porch held a nice package that sure beat the pants off the stuff in the mailbox!! My partner was Lynn (mtmind), and boy, did she outdo herself! My 6 yr old DD was by my side as I opened the very heavy package, which at first, I wondered how a "brick" could fall under "S", but no brick in there. Tons of other items, though! Here's the list:

Shake n Bake: will go very well with next week's pork chops

The Sunroom, by Beverly Lewis: Oddly enough, this is the one book of hers I haven't read. I mean to get it at the library, but then always forget, lol. Now, I don't have to worry about it;)

Squeezit (to squeeze bottom of the toothpaste up n out): Perfect around here, especially for the young'uns!

Sugar Cookie Mix: yep, will definitely get used around here!

Sharpener and Eraser Set: great for future homework use;)

Old Bay Seasoning: you guessed it, I'm almost out of mine

Starburst and Skittles: quickly confiscated by my oldest DD

Disney Bottle Cap stickers: I can't wait to use those!!

Jumbo Spatula: don't have one this big, and now I do!

Sugar-free Strawberry Jello: perfect for us in the summertime!

    "S" recipe cards: very clever!

Sewing Stickers: again, can't wait to use those!

Weekly magnetic scheduler: I loved your idea of using it for meal planning. Beats wasting paper!

Scrabble Stickers: how cute are those!

Scrapbook Stuff: tons of it and it will be put to good use;)

Disney Stickers: still have to put our trip book together, and these are perfect to go along for when the girls dressed up like princesses!

2 bags of Scrap paper punched into shapes for scrapping: you mean you punched all those out? Bless your heart! Now, go soak those hands;)

And a note from Lynn telling what's goin on in her neck of the woods. Lynn, that was one awesome package, and from my family, thank you soooooo much!!! Oh, and it was lots of fun opening each "present". It was like Christmas in June!

I hope you forgive me I am truly sorry!!!!!!!! Matter of fact when I received my package was on our K-5 graduation night I did not get to look at it until the next night when I got home. Matter of fact my partner's BD is the same as mine. I'm not here to talk about her or my self.. Elaine thank you for my letter I do not know how you have the time to do all that you do. I was tired just thinking about all you do, but I guess that keeps you going. Elaine sent me a WONDERFUL box. As I was unpacking the box ( which she wrapped every item. I thought that was nice that she took the time to do that) my husband said "what have you been telling these lady's? I responded "nothing why?" he said "they must think you cook" Lady's I do cook by the way just not as much as he would like. This is what Elaine sent me 5 Pairs of Scissors, I sure can use these I can not get enough of them when I need the it seems like I can not find 1 pair now maybe i can. Small office items, clips, pushpins etc., I will use these at school Syrup carmel for coffee, My husband took this as soon as he could Secret recipe cookbook from restaurants, great thing to have now i can cook like Olive Garden Scruff 1&2 Cd for kids,, See and learn c.d, Scalloped potatoes, Scott wipes, Sharpie markers (2) , Several (6) pair handmade earrings, pink, peach,, green, white, gold/green, aqua, Thank you for these I love them Lady's if you have not received any of Elaine's earrings you have missed a blessing Spanish rice, Seasonings, greek all-purpose, Spice club grinder pizza and pasta seasonings, Shell macaroni and cheese. That was what she sent me I thank you for all your time and effort that you put in to my box. I hope to have you one day for my partner. Best wished to you and your family.

     Hi Danni

I am so glaf that you liked your box.  I had fun putting it together. I am known for going overboard (LOL).  I am glad the kids liked there things.and that they can always use a new swim towel.  I have 6 Grandkids and they get new towels every year even though they have a ton of them and use them all.  Granddaughter #1 is a lifeguard this year and will be using a lot of them.  My DD #1 was in Germany and when I visited we went to Poland.   I thought they would make little fun gifts not knowing what was in them.  I love to try different spices and try to send some each time.  The smokehouse pepper is suppose to be new.  Let me know how it is.  Enjoy everything.

    Rita
