    Grilled Pork Chops

Erica Svejda of Janesville, Wisconsin starts preparing this entree the night before she wants to grill it. "This is a fabulous marinade with a unique flavor," she writes. "It is one of the only ways our family eats pork chops."

With 1/2 cup of Worcestershire, and 1/4 cup of soy sauce, this recipe must have over a gram of sodium - half of the recommended daily amount! It ought to come with a warning sign! I just swell up when I eat that much (I've gained as much as 10 lbs. overnight), but people with heart failure could die!

Do you realize how much of the marinade simply gets thrown away?

There is no way all the sodium from the marinade stays on the pork.

     Think about it.

You culd use low sodium Worcesthire and soy. There are alternatives to everything. You can even make your own low sodium Worcestshire sauce; recipes are out there.

I agree Lenadd.  I believe we all make a mistake every now and then.  Life is way to short to get so "pissy" over a spelling mistake.

The recipe sounds good and easy.

The spelling coment on "culd" reminds me of some of the posters on the Weight Watchers board.

OOPS!! I misspelled comment. 3 "whacks" with the dictionary.

I tried this marinade last night on pork loin and it was delicious! We grilled the pork slowly and it turned out perfect. My husband said that this recipe was a keeper.

It's great to be so perfect! Never to make a mistake! Unfortunately, we sometimes make a typographical error and don't realize it.
