Oh my gosh,  I feel so bad!  I completely forgot to post a thank you to Cyndi thanking her for the recipes and magnets.  Thank you so much for both.   A lot of the recipes look like ones we will love.   I think they were June recipes but they may have been May.

    Hello to all-

A special thank you goes out to Patricia, (crafting 123) for the nice envelope of goodies that I received in the mail today.  Finally, something other than a billSmile  Thanks for the cute blank recipe cards, your interesting note, and the wonderful new recipes to try.  I love anything with a lemon flavor, so I'll be sure to try your glazed lemon bread. We have something in common-working with special education kids.  I've been a resource teacher since 1981.  (I have a lot of gray hair)...... actually most of it probably came from my own DD, 15 going on 25 as they say.

She's going to be learning to drive this summer.  Yikes!  Look out.  Good to hear from you Pat.

Kate, I got your recpes and blank cards today. Thank you! The cabbage recipe sounds interesting.  I am one person that likes cooked cabbage, the smell of it......everything. I will clip this to my September menu plan. I don't know why, but September is when I really crave cooked cabbage. For summer, though, you can bet I am going to do the chicken sandwiches and blt bites. (Luckily cherry tomatoes are safe right now)  And, if I crave tomatoes, the salsa should be perfect.......very colorful, flavorful, and cooked.  Your recipes were very timely.

The dessert recipe is similar to one my sil brings to picnics, so I know I will love that. Since oreos are one of the basic food groups, I am all set.

    Thanks!

PS I was glad to hear you got the pen OK. I was concerned the mail process may tear the envelope.

Got my first set yesterday from Amy (arizonacook).  They all look so good.  I think I'll have to try the sauce recipe to use in the Pasta Bake - trying two recipes at once!  Thanks.
