    Competitor coupons-something I learned today.

Home Depot allowed me to use a competitor $10 coupon from Lowes off the purchase of $50. I was pleasantly surprised because I used this coupon to purchase a Reel type mower that our local Lowes did not sell, but Home Depot did. That was the incentive I needed to try one of these out. I am hoping that in addition to mowing the yard without the usual noise associated with mowing and the expense of the gas, I will be getting more exercise doing it. That's the plan any way. If it doesn't work out, I can return it. I'm glad I asked about the coupon and that I had it with me.

I didn't know Home Depot would do that. I know Wal-Mart does here. I always have my coupons and grocery ads in my bag for shopping. If I don't feel like going to the grocery store, as well as Wal-Mart, I pull out the grocery ad and get the items at Wal-Mart.

    Dollar General also accepts coupons.

Circuit City also does price comparing. Usually their competitor is Best Buy.

Albertson's also accepts competitors coupons.  Somebody told me (not an Albertson's employee though) that you can get Albertson's brands for other store brands if you have coupons for another stores private brands.

when we went to get our washer and dryer, Home Depot had them at 10 % OFF, but Sears had appliances at 15% off, but Home Depot had a rebate for shipping that made it free delivery...... we told the sales man that and he price matched the washer and dryer at Sear's price.

Linenes and things and bed bath and beyond does too i THINK.
