    Magic! (Party) favors-any ideas?)

I have to make favors for a party with a Magic theme. Any ideas? Kids will be present so no sharp edges (wands, etc.) What are the colors? What kinds of candies can I put in a cup, dish, etc. Any help is appreciated. Poof!

Oriental Trading has a Magic themed party pack, if you scroll towards the bottom it shows some favors, etc, maybe you can get ideas from that?

*you could make the candy cups look like top hats, or make the kids some bowties and top hats.

*Packs of cards for each child, you can sometimes find mini ones at craft stores

Will see what else I can find   :)

How about a deck of cards?  And sparkling magic bouncy balls.

    Magic beans?  (jelly beans)

For colors I would use black and white and then some fun magic colors like neon pink and green.

    check out www.familyfun.com

also check dollar stores for some simple magic tricks.......

balls under cups, linking rings, bunnies in a hat

Serve Magic Kook-aid this is clear Kool aid and the kids don't know what flavor it is until they drink it, I tell them its magic water.

you can always get Harry Potter's Jelly Belly beans..... you know the ones that are flavored like ear wax and grass and such wierd flavors

Pretzel rods dipped in a bit of chocoltate could be "magic wands"  milk chocolate to make it brown then white chocolate for the tip.

A variation of Amy's magic wand would be to dip the end of a black licorice rope or twist into white dipping chocolate.
