 Well, hot dog!  It is July!  I will open up the month !!! 

 Thank you, Ms Marcia!!  You're pretty awesome!!

To my dear Sweet, and very NEW Sister! I do not yet know if you are my BIG SIS or my 'lil sis, but no matter, I just wanted to stop by and  THANK YOU, for my very first mailing!!! Yup!! That's right! I got my very first email EVER from my SS!! I absolutely love it!! Your timing is incredible, too! It's been a rather trying day! And little did I expect to be hearing ANYTHING this soon! I mean, you've been my BIG/'lil SIS/sis for how many hours now? lol Anyway, Sweetie, thank you so very, very much for putting a huge smile on my face and in my heart! I already know I have the bestest of the Sisters for THIS round! I don't wanna hear any arguments from any of you gals either! 

MY SIS IS THE BEST!!!!!!!! so there! 

God bless you, Sweetie! Prayers going up for you and my other Sis! Which reminds me I'd best get busy!! :o)

Prayers for ALL of my past Sisters, too! And for Ms Marcia and Ms Linda! You gals done good...............AGAIN!! No surprise there!!

 

I wasn't sure if I should post this here or on the June Thank you thread. But I decided I'd do it here and hope that it will come as a pleasant little surprise to my last SS, juann!!

Thank you so very much for your card and the little note, Judy! It arrived today and I was sooooooo tickled to see your return addy on the envelope!  Another humongous smile you left on my face!! And about those orange sticks? Oh, Sweetie! I never dreamed you'd even think about sending more! I am carefully doling out the last box you sent so that I could savor it for a good long time to come!!! :o) I discovered that keeping them in the freezer during these hot, summer days, has actually made them a truly wonderful summer treat!! Anyway, it's the thought that means the most to me, Sweetie! And I love you for it! So thanks!! You are just, as my Grandma would say, 'The bees knees!" A true Sister in more ways than you can ever know! God bless you and may you and yours have a very  safe July 4th!!!!

 I heard that saying today from a judge on Iron Chef.........I pictured a bee with knees and LMAO. I am going to have to go look up the meaning :)

I know that this too should probably be under June's Thank You post but I hope Pat will see it here!! Pat has been my SS for the past 6 months and she has been great!! I received a box with three very patriotic crocheted washcloths (I love red, white and blue!!), a couple of cookbooks that I can' t wait to read and a very beautiful crocheted afghan!! I want Pat to know that I have appreciated her thoughtfulness over the past six months! And a side note to Kay - Juann was my SS once and she is a very special lady too!! I received a note from her the other day. Hearing from her always puts a smile on my face!! SS's surely do ROCK!!  Thank you to all my past SS's and all the ladies on the board for just being here and being YOU!!  Kathy

'Lil Ole Me - you are going to be a sneaky sister!  I received a package in the mail, DD told me who it was from - as she recognized the return addy (she helps out sometimes).  My brain was completely befuddled!!!  It wasn't from who i thought was - took me a minute to put two and two together.  Anyway - thank you for the lovely red "green bag".  That is so cool!  Easy to carry, and I already have a trip planned to fill it up - probably has something to do with SS.  I love the note card - pansies are one of my favorites, probably my very favorite as a matter of fact.  No matter what other flowers I choose to plant, I always plant at least a flat of pansies.  (I don't care if it fits with the overall look or not.)  They have such cute little faces - I always feel like I have a garden of smiles.  I am looking forward to this round of SS as well.  You have already made me smile - very big smiles and grins.  Thank you for making my weekend even more special!

Kate - How kewl is that!! I love it!! I absolutely agree with you about what a Sweetie she is! Whoever has her this cycle is in for some very special blessings!!

 

LOL at Betty! Isn't it amazing how some of our Sisters have learned to be so sneaky? I'm still trying to figure out how I'm gonna work this next cycle! It's definitely going to be a challenge and I'm open for any ideas anyone cares to share!  Anyway, I'm assuming that lil ole me is the name your SS is using? That's really cute! I don't know where you gals come up with such clever names, but I'm gonna have to see if I can't dream up something to use! I'm just not very good at that kind of thing! 

 

Well, I really came by to send another short thank you to my SS. I received another email from her last night! She was wanting me to answer a few more questions and was hoping we had a wonderful 4th!! I was tickled to death to find another message from you so quickly, Sis. I wanted to make sure I said Thank You and let you know you put yet another smile on my face and in my heart! I love it! :o) I hope that I answered your questions so that it helps you out.  If not, you'll just have to sic our moderator on me and maybe she'll send me to Patty's naughty corner! lol Maybe we should create a special thread on our board and call it the ' SS Naughty Corner'. I know one Sister who will be in there an awful lot!! :O)

Was thrilled when I got the mail this AM and saw an envelope from my "Rocking Secret Sister".

I received the cutest card and paper clip inside the card.  It is an imprint of a foot!

Got a nice note from her too and she said she was going to tell me her name and then she said she was sorry she ran out of room! lolol  Not only this girl a sweetie; but funny as well!

I couldn't believe it when my DH brought the mail in. I was looking through the mail and there was a card. I opened it up and it is from my New Secret Sister. Sis your card came on the most perfect day.It has been a pretty sad week for me. Your card was a Bright and Sunny spot and was well appreciated too. I couldn't believe how fast I heard from you. Since you haven't had my name for very long at all.

Thank you Sis so much for the lovely card.......I love it......

I started out of the drive way today and almost did not stop at the mailbox did not think anything would be there, I am sure glad I did stop, there was a card and it was from Snowflake (love that name) she wrote a note and said she had chosen that name cause I collect snowmen thought that was so neat.  The front of the card has "know what day it is?"  then you open it and it has "me Neither!" there is a picture of a monkey on the front, so cute

anyway snowflake, thank you so much for the card and note and I know this next 6 months will be a lot of fun getting to know you,

My new SS is so on the ball! Wow!

My husband and I celebrate our 12 year anniversary today, and yesterday when we got home from the lake, I found a beautifully sweet Anniversary Card from my new Secret Sister!  Thank you so much for sharing in our celebration with us! It has been 12 years but only feels like 3!
