    Canadian Corner 04/07/08

Good Morning Cc Friends and Happy July 4th to our American Friends

Well I saw great news this morning on Ann - getting all the cancer- that was very kind of her sister to pos and let us know. Ann rest and continue to pray for a speedy recovery sweetie.

Cool here but warming up. By the 1st of the week we are expecting the 30 deg stuff again.

This slave day and I'm having some friends for dinner so lots to do. Have to do all my balcony entertaining while I still have the balcony.

Hope you all have a great day.

    Good morning everyone,

That is great news about Ann!  I'm praying for a speed recovery for her too.

I didn't sleep well last night and have been up for a couple of hrs now.  Just mixing up a batch of bread now to have it done before the heat hits again today.

It's is supposed to be sunny and hot all weekend too. We are heading to FIL's in the morning (or maybe this evening) for a visit.  They live in the main house of a seasonal campground near St.John, so it will be a little bit cooler there.  We'll be camping out in a tent for the weekend.  Too bad I won't be able to get in the pool.

Well, off to finish mixing up the bread and need to do a couple of loads of laundry.  I also have to finish up the weeding today.

Have a great day and Happy 4th of July to our American friends!

Cathy - there must be something about this sleeping thing - I have not slept well for a few weeks either.

Have a nice time out at camp - it will be cooler for sure.

Good morning everyone. I love this site. It is suppose to be a great weekend here in Nova Scotia. Everyone please say a prayer for my 2 year old granddaughter today. She just recently finished 26 weeks of chemo and is going for her evaluation scans today. We will get the results on Monday. I hope everything comes back clear. She has been such a fighter these past 6 months. Everyone have a great weekend.

Kathie - it will be good for you to get mom's house done so you can enjoy some of the summer. Are you celebrating July 4th with the kids in the US.

Oh Doreen, I am sorry to hear about your granddaughter.  I pray that everything will go well today and that you get great results from her scans.  Such a young age to be going through something like that.

Good morning ladies..."slave day" for me like Crea calls it.  House cleaning before I go to the greenhouse to load the truck and then we'll see.  Have to be inbed early for market tonight.  We get up at 1am.  It's very hard to sleep in advance and makes for a very long day.  Well I better get the kiddies up and moving.  DS has a friend sleeping over and is getting really tired of her so we have to make sure she gets home early today.  Have a great day!

     Good morning Canadian Corner

Good wshes for Ann and Kayleigh.

Hope you can enjoy another 'at home' day Meesh.

We're off to market too tomorrow.  It will be another short night for me.  Generally hit the pillow by midnight and then up by 3.  Our market doesn't open until 9 and we only have 10 minutes to travel to get there.

You've worked hard Katie on getting your Mother's house ready for market.  It is a really tough job.  Well done you can see the goal line.

Have fun camping Cathy.   I saw Char is home and will be posting today.

c_oo_kie take it slow and steady.  Try to catch a catnap in the heat of the day.  THe alarm went off several times again last night and I had a heck of a time getting back to sleep.

Have a great holiday yooper and droopydawg.  Everyone else, enjot the upcoming weekend.

Off to put out another batch of bees and then get produce ready for tomorrow.     Pat

Hi Pat, why do you have to get up at 3 if your market doesn't open til 9 and you only have 10 minutes to travel? That would really be nice for us.  We have 1 1/2 hours to travel and a border crossing in between so sometimes that can take longer.  Ours opens at 4am so we need that time to get set up once we're there.  Do you get everything ready after 3am before you leave?
