I’m cooking early….what can I say?

I hope your day  yesterday was  wonderful.

The fireworks display last night was out of this world fantastic!

I’m going back to the kitchen ~ water my plants and maybe even go back to bed…………….LOL now that’s a hoot! I am taking the boat to fire department (cleaning the nasty thing) we should be on the lake by daylight, hugs to all!

I need to get to the store and buy the stuff for our family party on Monday.  That way if I forget anything I will still have time to go back and get it...  I do have a list but you know I always manage to miss at least one or two things.

Marlene,would you believ that it's a recipe on the back of a Kraft mayonnaise jar with chicken,celery,onions,mayo and some other stuff I can't remember now.GF is the one that noticed it and showed it to me.I told BJ last night that Ricky Bobby was messing up and would start dead last.LOL Depo!!!

I have almost no plans for today! I may cook up some beans just have them on hand. I like cold bean sandwhiches! We used to have them on Saturdays when I was a kid! Gram always had baked beans on Friday night so sandwhiches on Saturday!  Talk at you all later, Chris

Good morning Depo, Marlene and Christine.  Your wraps sound good Depo but DH will NOT eat chicken any way you fix it. (hear that BJ?) We are going to have left overs today. I really don't cook on Saturdays. That's my rule and I'm sticking to it!

Can you belive when Braun hit the wall in the race, I  thought this will take forever to start again. I went to sleep in my chair and woke up after it was over. Went to bed without knowing who won until this morning.  I don't really like those races anyway. It's just cars lined up in a row most of the time.

Faith nice to meet you. I am Debbie from West Michigan. Did you go to the fireworks last night? Congratulations on the awards at school. You must be so proud. Good job!!!

It is another bright sunny day here today. Temps are just perfect. I think we will be going to the state park for a picnic! DGD will love it. She stayed up the entire time for the fireworks & our little fireworks later. She kept saying take me home I want to take a nap!! She was so funny. Then when we lit our own fireworks she was just beside herself.

Marge we have a timeshare in Atlantic Beach. When gas wasn’t so high we went don twice a yr. We love it there.

Vera, so glad to hear you got your power back. That was terrible. They said they have people from other state helping get everyone back up & w/ power.

Good Morning All..

Hope everone enjoyed there 4th.. I will have to say our little town put on a excellent fireworks display... Cookout at friends was good.. We were all in shock as usually the weather is  so Hot and Humid but when the rain and fog cleared by early afternoon it was really nice outside.. some people had on lite jackets... Very Unusual for the 4th of July... usually its so Hot and Humid is miserable to be out..

Well DH vacation went through and he will be off work for the next week.. Hope we can get all the things done that we have planned too... They are gonna let him have the morning of the 14 off to as thats when I see the Eye Dr. at 8am and they said he should come along. I pray I dont have to have any surg. done on my L eye..
