Last Saturday, my BIL, SIL and 4 y/o niece came in from Philly for a visit. (They have an issue with feeling as though that the world owes them and they are entitled to it!) I am so over them! Jesus, they eat us out of house and home, their daughter is so bad (okay, I know you are not supposed to call a child bad, but she is relentless!). They leave tomorrow morning and it cannot come fast enough. My niece is hitting my 9 y/o and 6 y/o and nothing is said. I finally put her in a time out for hitting and my SIL pulled her out of time out and coddled her. When you tell her to stop doing something, like teasing my poor little puppy, she gives you a look as if she is looking right through you. I HATE THAT! I feel bad for her because she doesn't get corrected and she will only get worse. My husband cannot take it anymore. We agreed that 8 days is way too long to have company. We are very happy that we live 700 miles away sometimes and this is one of those times.
