Here I am! Finally got the internet back yesterday afternoon so it's all good. Woohoo!
Katie, please have a blooming onion for me, too. Used to be at fair time in August, we could get them here, but the vendor who sold them hasn't been around for years. That's probably a good thing because those yummy things are on our list of never-allowed things to eat. Drat.
It has been really nice here for a couple of days...yesterday we had to turn on the a/c in the afternoon and evening but off again last night. It's pleasant now and probably not going to get hot enough to bother with a/c for at least a few days. Yay.
Pat, toe? What happened to your toe? And what has Cookie gotten into this time?
Ann I was so glad to see your post. Glad you have a nice nurse and here's hoping you don't have to have any more treatment.
Marilyn, I think DH has made up "our" mind that we are going to settle in Berea. Fine with me as I just want to have it all decided and get 'er done:) For years and years, we've been saying Madisonville, then DH changes horses in the middle of the stream. Men! Berea is a really pretty little place and close enough to DS and g'kids to see them often. It's also only 344 miles to Atlanta so that we will get to see DD and g'kids at least a couple of times a year.
Nothing on the agenda today except to get in our walk. I should probably straighten up the dust bunnies under the bed and rearrange the mess in the living room. One thing for sure is that even if the place isn't squeaky clean, the dirt is very neatly arranged. So we have have either a clean mess or neat dirt:) Please don't tell Crea on me or she'll be down here in a flash with mop and bucket in hand! lol
