Hi Pat its nice here too but going to get quite warm starting today for a couple, so need to get my work done early.

Thats nice for you heading out to a party - heck you deserve it- bruised toe and all. LOL See you did very well at the market Sat.  People will buy those taters so you would sell every last one you could ever dig and take.

Guess Dolores has headed out for vacation - have a good time sweetie.

Ann-hope you are resting comfortably- you will be in our Care & Concerns Session at church this morning. When you fell like it let me know and I will give you a call.

Imagine YF will be on the road home today -coming back to the hot weather will not be a good thing in her books. LOL

Marilyn - I will only raid the garden when its overflowing with goodies. LOL

Cookie - heaven forbid what did you do to yourself now-something with the hand I see.

Beesmom - how did your market trip go?

After church I'm going with a friend to Cora's - new restuarant opened a while back and only serves breakfast and lunch and is way too expensive for me, so its a good job I'm not the payee. LOL The last time I was there I ate again when I got home. I don't own a sail boat, cottage or million dollar home so its really not my type of place. I'll stick with the one's YF, Andre and I go to. LOL

Hope you have a great Sunday

Good Morning everyone, just wanted to stop in for a few minutes and thank you all so very much for your prayers and comcern.

I am doing very well....had a bit of a surprise as the lymph nodes were affected. I have the dreaded drain tube that YF had to deal with as well. My Home Care nurse is very nice and will be stopping in later today and them Mike is going to take me out for a relaxing drive in the country.

Just have to wait for the results from the cancer to see what further treatments will be required.....they are thinking maybe chemo :(....I am praying not.

Well, it is 4:00 , so I better get back to bed.

    Have a safe trip YF

just want to thank you all again.

Lots of hugs from me (((CC)))

Crea, I will be all alone on Monday, so if you want you can call me then, I would love to hear from you.

    Good Morning CC Friends

Ann it's so nice to see your post, please take it easy.

    Pat enjoy your party

Kaie have fun when your DD gets there.

    Crea enjoy your lunch

We are off to a Croatian picnic in Milton. There will be BBQ lambs & pigs along with a whole steer. You bring your own salads, drinks & desserts & buy the meat by the pound. I've had a craving for lamb for the last week.

Please continue to pray For Samanta as she goes into the hospital on Tuesday. They are trying to find a sergeon that will do the lung operation after the cancer in her arm is taken care of. There are not very many doctors that will operate when the primary cancer comes back.

Waving to all other CCers who will post later have a wonderful Sunday.

YF have a safe trip back to the hot south.

    Re: Canadian Corner 06/07/08

Here I am! Finally got the internet back yesterday afternoon so it's all good. Woohoo!

Katie, please have a blooming onion for me, too. Used to be at fair time in August, we could get them here, but the vendor who sold them hasn't been around for years. That's probably a good thing because those yummy things are on our list of never-allowed things to eat. Drat.

It has been really nice here for a couple of days...yesterday we had to turn on the a/c in the afternoon and evening but off again last night. It's pleasant now and probably not going to get hot enough to bother with a/c for at least a few days. Yay.

Pat, toe? What happened to your toe? And what has Cookie gotten into this time?

Ann I was so glad to see your post. Glad you have a nice nurse and here's hoping you don't have to have any more treatment.

Marilyn, I think DH has made up "our" mind that we are going to settle in Berea. Fine with me as I just want to have it all decided and get 'er done:) For years and years, we've been saying Madisonville, then DH changes horses in the middle of the stream. Men! Berea is a really pretty little place and close enough to DS and g'kids to see them often. It's also only 344 miles to Atlanta so that we will get to see DD and g'kids at least a couple of times a year.

Nothing on the agenda today except to get in our walk. I should probably straighten up the dust bunnies under the bed and rearrange the mess in the living room. One thing for sure is that even if the place isn't squeaky clean, the dirt is very neatly arranged. So we have have either a clean mess or neat dirt:) Please don't tell Crea on me or she'll be down here in a flash with mop and bucket in hand! lol

Good morning everyone.  I woke up an hour too early this morning so I think I will do laundry while it is cool enough before I head to church.  I am having a friend over to celebrate her birthday tonight.  On the menu: bbq striploin, loaded baked potatoes, corn on the cob, coleslaw, radishes (her favourite), sauted mushrooms, lemonade and carrot cake.

Got my yard work done so need to tidy up the house before supper time.
