Table is set with Mugs for coffee or tea and there is a bowl of fresh fruit. Bkfst casserole on the counter on the warming tray. It is Southern Style Baked French Toast. Reg. syrup to go with and also some Blueberry and Butter Pecan Syrup. Also setting out a little bowl of powdered sugar. Help yourself Grannies.  (I figured with all the company, FM will not be bringing Rolls)

Looks like a nice day here. 63* going to 88*  Maybe some cloudyness this afternoon.

Nothing on the agenda for today, just usual BSAN and reading the paper. BBL

Good Morning Suzi. As I'm typing you are the only one here so far, and it is 7:30 in my area. Is everyone sleeping in today?

It is cloudy and feels like rain anytime. The temp is 70*, which means we could be in line for some bad storms later possibly. Just a shower would be welcome for the gardens, but no bd stuff.

Off to church at 9 a.m. today. After yesterday, I'm really feeling in the need for it. Hopefully, the sermon will be directed to me today!  Smile(and maybe one directed to her also!)

I will try your Southern French toast, Suzi, but I'm hesitant on a lot of "southern" foods, so just a small taste to start!  Smile

    Good Morning Suzi and Lily!

I'll load my plate up and have some coffee with you too.

Cloudy with a small possibility of scattered showers today but won't hold my breath.

Paper is here so will get that read and then off to work at the bookstore.  Worked yesterday all day too.

Hope all have a wonderful day today.  Grannie prayers and hugs for all!!

    Good morning, grannies.

This morning, we are walking in sunshine and SON-shine.

SUZI, yum-yum, pass the French toast. Same day coming here.

LILY, hope church was a prayerful and time of friendship for you.

MIMIB, have a good bookstore day. 50% rain, means 50% it won't rain.

Happy day here, Bradley is coming back. Don't know what time they will arrive, but a big pot of spaghetti is waiting for them with brownies and ice cream for dessert.

See y'all later----that must have come from the Southern Style French toast.

Good morning. It's already starting to get warm out there. We are going to go and play first this morning and then I get to supervise some more. DH is getting very god at being supervised. He can total forget that I'm saying anything.

Suzi the coffee smells so good and I'll take a little of everything. It all sounds so good.

Lily I know what you mean about those sermons directed as us. Sometimes they can really hit home.

Mimib hope your day goes quickly.

ATV I bet Bradly will be so glad to get back. Brownies and ice cream, what more could he ask for. They sure sound good to me.

Grammy the pictures of the little one sure are cute.

Debbie try to relax. I know everytime they change my meds I panic too. Just tell the doctor how you feel and hopefully he can help.

Hope everyone has a good day. Still moving kind of slow here. Doesnt' hurt all that much just kind of stiff.

Where is everyone this morning? Sure is slow getting the GN awake today!

Mimib, I think you are stay so busy, but it's probably good for you, too.

Nancy, I know you like being busy with Bradley there, so enjoy.

Hi Alby, glad to hear you are getting along so well.

I'm eating an O'Henry bar for my breakfast, but, hey, they are healthy with oateal and p.b.! I can enjoy them, as I can do the slide hook on my pants without inhaling right now. (But it won't last if I keep eating them Sad )

    Off we go...............

    Morning all!

Just praying and keeping my fingers crossed and thinking positively that there will be no rain during the picnic today.

Thanks for breakfast, Suzi.  I haven't ate yet so it filled the spot.

I need to get my hair done (or attempt to) and get things together so we can leave when I'm ready to.  Have to go back and read what everyone was up to yesterday.  We had a nice day.  The kids swam a little but they said it was too cold.  The chicken salad was a hit (just don't tell DH that it had cucumbers in it) and so were the apple butter bars.  Today will be nothing new.

Guess I'd better go and attempt to do this hair.  With it being so moist outside I don't know if doing anything will help.

Everyone have a great day and I'll try to be back tonight.

Good morning to all.  We do not have much planned for today.  DH was going to go fishing but now has decided not to.  Darn, and I had such a nice day planned for myself.  He will be gone all day Wednesday to a tournament so I will set aside my plans till then.  Sounds like Grammy shared some pictures of DGGD.  I didn't get them, would someone share?  I am going to get busy and bake some brownies, someone mentioned fixing those today.  I have a box mix I can stir together.  Have a great day all.

    Good morning.

It's yucky outside, 80*, 68 humidity and 60 dew point, not much of a breeze either. I'll be staying inside as much as possible today.

Yep, we slept in. With Buddy sleeping on the bed we get a few extra z'sSleep In fact I got up, let him out and we both went back to bed and slept another hour. Sure did feel good.

Nothing planned today, unless DH has something up his sleeve. He worked in the storeroom all day and most of the evening. We have lots to throw and no where to go with it. Guess it will go a little at a time.

Now too waddle up to the nice breakfast that Suzi has ready, I'm starving.

    Have a great day all.

MORNING GRANNIES!  I slept very late this morning.  Buttercup & I were so comfy in my bed.  I couldn't sleep last night.  I was still awake at four, even got on the computer for awhile.  I have alot on my mind right now.  Muggy her AGAIN.  One more week of it.  Sun is peeping out right now.  We must have had rain last night.  Deck is wet.

SUZI   Your french toast cassserole sounds sooo  gooood.  I will definitely have some of that please.  I've heard of the casserole but never had it before.  Butter Pecan syrup sounds yummy too.  Great breakfast your serving.

ALBY  My DH tunes me out all the time.  Forgetful too.

Time to get a cup of coffee to wake me up.  I feel super lazy today.  Sinuses are bad today. I feel like lying down again.  BBL

    Re: 7-6 Grannie Neighborhood.

Home from church and all changed. Now it will just be sitting around for the rest of the day. Quite muggy outside with a chance of t-storms later. But there is a strong wind blowing, which helps a lot. Our church is in a valley and it was really warm down there with no wind blowing. Mamma, our humidity is about 70%.

Marcia, sorry your day alone didn't work out for you. What type tournament will your DH be involved with? Fishing?

Wanda, praying there is no rain on your picnic today.

The sermon was helpful, but the Epistle reading from Romans 7:15-25 really hit me between the eyes!  Hopefully it will stick with me the next time I see this girl! Smile

I have a small rump roast in the crock pot for dinner.

Where is everyone today? Sure quiet in here!

Eeewww, it just keeps getting worse outside. Now the humidity is up to 76% and the dew point is 72 with a temp of 85 and no wind!!! I just came in from watering the flowers. The wind and heat really sucked them dry yesterday and I had watered in the morning. I still have more to water, but the air is so heavy it's hard to breath out there. I'm glad that job is done.

Mark is busy in the store room again and will probably be there all day. He is trying to make it so he has more room to work on his wood projects. Kind of hard to make room when there isn't much there to begin with. hehe

opps he is asking for something to eat now. ttyal

    Re: 7-6 Grannie Neighborhood.

I am kind of late to say goood morning.

IT was so nice out this morning, but it has clouded over and we may have rain later.

Debbie, Prayers for you. I hope your body and you mind will settle down and you will start to relax again and feel great.

Marcia, I looked at some of the sites you sent. I love the stuff. If I start doing that I'm sure it will use up more time than I should. I make my own cards and I spend way too much time designing them. But it is soooo much fun for me.

The DGSs are here and staying overnight. DS andDIL are taking Illja to catch her flight home and they will be spending time visiting the windy city. Tomorrow I will take the boys to summer school and their other grandma will pick them up.

I have one more quilt to sew around sometime today so I can take them back tomorrow.

I hear no sound from outside so I better go see what they are into. Quiet is great when they aren't here, but a little troubling to have quiet when they are here.
