I have had that happen at the grocery store where I go. And also people who stand in the middle of the aisle chatting away on their cell phones, cart right in the way, well I will say "excuse me once", and if no action, I take my cart and just push theirs until I can get around them. Of course I am the one that gets the dirty looks or comments. Which I will reply " Well I said excuse me and you had no respect for me to move your cart".

My favorite is the person who leaves her cart in the middle of the aisle and goes off to look for something back an aisle or two.

Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen.

In addition to the examples mentioned, I also love it when they leave their cart in the middle of the aisle while they go look at something, or they let their darling 3 year old push the cart!Confused

I have zero tolerance for any of these offenders.

I had to laugh at a woman in Kroger last week.  She was on her cell phone, to her obviously soon-to-be-ex husband!!   Just about everyone in that store could hear her conversation...or should I say yelling at the poor bugger!  And while she was yelling at him, she was going around getting what she needed and putting it in her cart - quite oblivious to the fact that everyone was listening to her.

Oh, I have another one!  A while back one of our local grocery stores had toy grocery carts available for your little darling to push around after you.  Can I tell you what a HUGE pain that was??  Hard enough to maneuver with the regular carts without watching out for the little ones, too!  The toy carts have magically disappeared!

Oh, we had them, and they were awful!   They didn't last very long!  I wonder what they did with the pillock who came up with that brilliant idea.

Re: people..do not stop and chit-chat in the middle of an aisle..

Yesterday was my day for rudeness. But, it was kids. I have no idea what parents are teaching their kids.

We were sitting in a parking lot at our favorite pizza place. I had called in an order, and it was a bit early, so, we sat in the car.  A couple of kids, and one overgrown adult, was playing bounce the little ball off the pizza building. (Pizza place has a machine indoors, to get those little balls.)

One little boy , about 8, or so, hit my truck twice. The second time, he was at my window, starting to run after the ball, just as I was starting the truck up, to move it, sick of being hit.

He stopped, and I told him, go get your ball, so I can move the truck if you are going to keep hitting it. The overgrown adult, did nothing. I moved the truck, and they continued their games of bouncing the ball in the lot.

Before that, where I had parked, was a young girl sitting in her car, waiting for someone. The someone came out, handed her an icecream cone, one with a paper surrounding it, and a paper lid.

So, before she pulls out, she throws out the paper lid,  then, just before pulling out, throws out the paper wrapper from a spoon. There was a napkin there, too, not sure if it was hers or not.

My gosh, what is in their minds, anyway.???

I will stop and talk to someone, mainly, if it is my Dad, or Mom, LOL! but, I make sure I move or can move.

I will leave my buggy, but, I push it over somewhere behind a display, or, out of the way somewhere.

When at Gabes, forgot about this one, yesterday, checking out. A lady in front, with not just one teenager, but 3, and they were price checking a pair of pants and top. The girls then leave there, so the women has to wait till they come back, to see if they want the pants and top!! We were waiting, and waiting....... errr! That is aggravating.

Re: people..do not stop and chit-chat in the middle of an aisle..

Oh my, I was just talking to dh about this very thing - I had just finished shopping at my grocery store, and came out so irritated.  People just stopping in the middle of the isle, or parked talking right in front of something I needed.  Then a little old lady ( I know, I know, i will be there soon, and they need to shop too) walking ever so slow, stopping to get something off the shelf, her cart blocking the whole isle, and she didn't hear me say excuse me so I could pass.  All right, 1,2,3 4 ,...........  finally I moved her cart, she never knew.

Then at the checkout, I was putting my stuff on the belt, and still had several things that needed to be loaded, and the person behind me started loading her stuff, which moved along with mine.  I couldn't put the dividing bar across yet as I still had stuff.  Grrrrrrrr.  I asked her just to wait at least till I finished loading my stuff one.  She gave such a dirty look.   I just don't understand.  I always at least wait till the person in front of me has all their stuff on the belt, then put the bar up and start loading.   DH says my problem is that i  expect everyone to think like me!

Oh please dear God, give me patience!

The one that also drives me nuts are the people who walk into the store and stop so they can discuss with their friend or family member where they will go first, what they will get, etc.

Move your hind end over and talk!!

All of the above!  <LOL>  I don't understand women who leave their cart in the the middle of the aisle, with their purse in the baby seat, wide open!  Might as well put a "please rob me" sign on it!  I once told a woman she shouldn't do that and got told to MYOB.  Oh well.

Re: people..do not stop and chit-chat in the middle of an aisle..

I dont like going to the store anyway. I want to get in and get back out. I usually do my shopping on Saturday. Dont people have anything better to dp than hang out at the store? I can understand running into someone and saying hi,of course. But,please move over so you're not in the middle of the aisle. The other day 3 teenaged girls stopped in front of the chips and started discussing what they were going to get. Which led them to discuss what kind of chips there boyfriends liked.Confused I asked them 3 times to excuse me and got no response. So,I leaned in a picked up what I wanted and told them,"Kyle's probably starving by now, maybe you should hurry." They looked at me like I ws crazy. Smile
