    Peppers are ready to pick!!!

I just picked my first 3 tomatoes from the garden over the weekend and now I have about 4 or 5 green bell peppers to pick when I get home.  I would love to make stuffed peppers tonight but have misplaced my recipe.  Would anyone like to share theirs with me?

     Thanks!!!  :)

Here is my fav. recipe for stuffed peppers!

    Stuffed Peppers

5 large green bell peppers par boiled
    1lb. ground beef browned
    2 garlic cloves minced
    2 cups cooked rice
    28oz. tomato sauce
    1 T. salt
    1/2 t. pepper
    2 cups shredded chedder cheese

Mix together beef, garlic, rice, half of tomato sauce, salt, pepper and cheese. Fill each pepper with mixture. Place in greased pan. Pour remaining sauce over peppers. Cover with foil. Bake 350 for 45 min. then uncover and bake 15 more min.

My Green peppers are slow, slow, slow. It will be August, if that, before I get some.

I have picked a few tomatoes.

My cucumbers, the spacemaster ones, are full of blooms, and small cukes.  I guess they don't vine as tall as the others, and seem bushier. Nice plants. I hope the cukes are as good.

I planted 3 different varieties, though. Never did find my snack, sugar kind.
