 Hello yarn crafters.  Here are sweaters that Kathy and her DD Mary have crocheted.  The sunny melon and denim an the bottom are Kathies and the other two, ombre style, are  Marys.  Kathie, sorry this didn't get posted sooner, it got lost in a group of emails that I had received!!!  These are just beautiful.  Anyone would be so proud and honored to receive such a gift of love.  :)  Thanks for sharing the pictures with us!

Hey everyone! Marcia, it's so sweet of you to post photos for those of us who don't know how, or otherwise are unable. All I saw was the red x too, so I left and returned through Firefox. Now I don't even see the x's!

I've been playing a bit with my blog. Got one idea from you, the blog roll. That is way cool! The other thing I did was finally break down and open a Flickr account which I think I'm really going to like. Today, with a bit of assistance from my DD in Seattle I was able to add a link to the Backyard View photos. If you click on the picture it will take you to my photostream where you can see a larger version of the sweaters photo, as well as most of the other pictures I've posted on my blog.

I've been so busy with school, the garden, and working in and outside the house that I haven't managed to get any knitting or crocheting done. In addition to that, with the work I've been doing outside my fingernails are starting to chip and split. They're just looking lovely these days LOL but, the worst thing is the challenge of trying to work with yarn without snagging it! Ugh. Oh well. Gives me an excuse to get caught up on other things I really should be doing anyway I guess.

Think I'll be able to get here a bit more often now, even though my PC is still being cranky. Even DH admitted last night that we're probably going to have to break down and get a new one soon. Hard to believe anything could be considered old at a mere 7 yrs. of age!

Connie the sweaters were so beautiful and looked so good on the kids. I loved your tale of the yogurt.

I have had such a terrible cold the last few days. Seems like these summer colds are worse than the winter ones.

I have been helping my daughter crochet a dress for her daughter. She has it done but the buttons so hopefully Marcia can post it for us when finished. It is red, white and blue. It is her first attempt at anything other than a baby blanket. I think she did a pretty good job.

I put 10 quart bags of green beans in the freezer on sunday. With the price of food and gas these days that may be all we have to eat this winter. ha ha.

Well I had better get back to the grind stone. Have a great day all. Jeanette

Connie: the sweater are nice..............happy girl not so happy faced boy!!  :O) but they sure have some nice sweaters to wear!!  :O)  I get so confused when I get to the blog..............I'll figure it out sometime!! 

Jeanette.................Green beans are a favorite here.............we will come to supper some nite this coming winter!!  :O)   So great your daughter is progressing to dresses............I have just recently "been there, done that"  & the colors are perfect.......American Pride!

Haven't done anything with the hook yet this week.............trying to get a book finished that is due at the library tomorrow!

Hi All I got my rhubarb picked last night and some cut up and frozen for winter.

Kathie if you come this weekend for supper you could probably get fresh green beans.

I am too glad my daughter is showing an interest in crocheting and moving on besides blankets. Then I am not the only one to rely on for homemade items being made.

Not much else going on here. It has been in the 90's here and very humid the last few days.

Jeanette and Kathie, Thank you both for stopping by my blog and for your kind comments re the sweaters. Nathan is so funny. It's frustrating at imes, and has caused me some irritation in the past but I'm getting over it, at least to a point. He just doesn't like to smile for pictures! If he does smile then I better snap it quick because he does his best to cover that smile up. LOL In the picture he is doing his classic cover up that smile. I'm finally getting to the point where I figure that's just his photo look. I'll deal with it, and when I do somehow manage one with a smile consider it a bonus ;-) 

Kathie, I'm sorry you're having problems with my blog. Don't hesitate to let me know any questions you may have, so I can explain!

Jeanette, those green beans sound so good! I'm jealous! Still waiting on my peas to finish up here. I'm losing patience with them though, and concidering getting out there and just planting the beans alongside, in hopes that everything will be ready to harvest in time to plant another crop of peas and spinach. Glad you enjoyed my yogurt/sour milk story! LOL I have evey intention of acquiring a thermos tomorrow so I can give it another, more controlled go. One way or another I am going to make yogurt! ;-)

I need to go get everything together for school, so outta here for now.

Hi Y'all!  Missing you all, was glad to stop in and read quickly and catch up on everyone.  I'm not doing any yarn crafting this week - am at Model Rocketry Encampment and helping out.  We're building and launching rockets.  It's fun, and like being in a totally different world.  Hope everyone is having a good week, and getting lots of crafting done!

Hi Everyone I just had to tell Marcia I love her blog too. The recipes are great. The pictures of family are just wonderful and so interesting. It keeps me coming back for more.

Thnk you so much for the award. It IS fun! I was tickled to receive it, and really enjoyed passing it out to those I deemed worthy :o) I recieved a message from Bev, the second one I listed. She's thrilled and will be by to pick hers up as soon as she has internet service that will allow her to be on for more than a few minutes at a time. I can sure relate to that situation! LOL

Now then! For my most recent blog entry...I need someone to come up with an answer to my question! Of course that's assuming everyone who reads it doesn't become as directionally confused as me! LOL
