Re: ~*~ Six more questions about YOU - inquiring minds want to kno! ~*~

     1) What was I doing ten years ago?  I was moving into my very first apartment ... alone.  I was at a point in my life where I was really struggling and maybe even trying to find myself.  I had just met the man who is now my husband.  I had taken my first (of now many) rides on a Harley.

2)What are 5 things in your to do list today? Oh FUN!  Get the invoices out.  Make an office supply run.  Spend time with my granddaughter who is coming to spend the night.  Tackle the mess that I made in the office last night and THROW out 99% of it! Smile at someone who needs it.

3)Snacks I enjoy:Popcorn, Caramel corn,  nuts, chips, fruit, CHOCOLATE and oh, did I say CHOCOLATE"  POPCORN!?

4)Things I would do if I was a billionaire  I would give money to our church and Christian School.   I would set up a small home situation for my DD and 2 to 3 peers to live independently and it would be CLOSE to me.  I would set up trusts for my children and grandchildren.  I would set up trusts for my brothers, DD's bro and sis, several friends on my list.  I would purchase a home for my brother.  I would buy the kids, my in laws, my kids' paternal grandparents and my brother all new vehicles and set up gas cards for them and maintenance arrangements for them so they would never have to buy gas again.  I would purchase $100 gas cards and give them out randomly to persons at the gas station.  I would purchase gift cards and share with those in need.  We have a segment on our local new station, called People Helper.  I would watch that closely and give as I felt the need.  I would start a scholarship program at the Christian School of my choice.  I would hope that when I saw tragedy in our country that I would find a way to get money to those in need where the majority of it would be for the people.  I would like to buy a second home in the city where my kids live so that I could go and visit more and have a place to stay and have them over.  I would pray to be sensitive enough to see a need and be able to respond in a caring and compassionate way.  I would give a large chunk to St. Jude's and to the MS association.  Oh... and yes, I would quit working here but think that I would set up a foundation with that money and administer it .. the foundation would be dedicated to helping others.  And I think I would have a laptop so that I could administer this and travel at the same time.  Travel in the USA is just fine with me... I have so much that I want to see here.    So much to do.  I think one more thing else would be a all expenses paid Secret Sister Weekend!!!  Wouldn't THAT be fun!

    5) Places I have lived in: North Platte, Nebraska, Montana, Lincoln, Nebraska, Olympia Washington, Port Angeles, Washington, Burien, Washington, Auburn, Washington, Edgewood, Washington. :)

    6) Jobs I have had:  Shoe Salesman (my dad owned the shop! ) , Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Customer Service Rep, Office manager, Customer Service Rep, Receptionist, A/R A/P Specialist, Office Manager, Office Manager:           Soon to be administrator of that Foundation that I mentioned above!  lol... I can dream!

    Prayers 2

    Great questions!!!

     1) What was I doing ten years ago?  I had just finished my 4th year of teaching school and was very close to finishing my master's degree (I finished it in Dec. 98)  I had met someone who I thought was a dream man (but he was a dope like all the rest in my life) and I guess that was about it.

2)What are 5 things in your to do list today? hmmmm.....watched a movie, went to the PO, cook dinner, write thank you notes, and take a nap (I've done 2 of the 5 so far)

3)Snacks I enjoy:  macademia nuts, chocolate, oreos, Reese's Pieces, chocolate, pocorn, apples, craisins, and chocolate

4)Things I would do if I was a billionaire wow....I have sooo  many dreams.  I would travel the world, I'd buy a house and new cars for me and DH.  I would give scholarships to kids at school that are dedicated to making a better life, but don't have the tip top grades (they are the ones who seem to fall through the cracks).  I would definitely have a maid.  I would pay off all of my bills.  I'd probably also buy a house in Hawaii that way I could go there for spring breaks, Thanksgivings, Christmases, etc.  I'd definitely want in on that SS get-together, too.  But you know, I would still keep teaching.  Keep my mind busy and always learning!

    5) Places I have lived in  I have always lived in the great state of Arkansas.  Not too many towns, but I prefer not to mention those right now!

    6) Jobs I have had    well, other than teaching, I have been a fast food worker (would you like Biggie Fries with that?)  I worked at a video store, and I've kept my friends' kids some.  That's about it!

Spanishteacher.....and this is where I WISH I were!
