So we gave SONIC a try for dinner

We WON'T be making that choice again!!!  YUCK!!  I'm not even that picky but I would take McDonald's over Sonic any day!!  And tonight we were a family of 6 so it wasn't cheap that's for sure!!  So much for trying something new!  lol

Oh that makes me so sad!!! I LOVE Sonic!!! I ate there every day when I was in college! It wasn't the freshman 15 for me it was more like the freshmen 30!!  It makes me want to come get you and take you to our Sonic! My favorite is a Sonic bacon cheeseburger-no tomato but with ketchup, some cheese balls and a peach flurry....LOVE IT!!!

We went to one last Saturday night.  It was ok.  I have an old convertible so we thought it would be fun to go to Sonic's.  Our waiter roller bladed our food out to us. 

Hope you don't mind me butting in but Sonic is only good for ice cream and slushies!!!  and then only from 2-4 (Happy Hour) 1/2 price drinks!!!!Yeah!

Oh! i love Sonic! Maybe you just have a bad one???? I love their hamburgers, but my favorite is the strawberry cream slush!!!

Jet I'm glad I'm not the only one!!! LOL!!! Maybe we are just blessed with good Sonics??!!

Sonics around here can be hit or miss.  I try to keep my expectations low when I go to any fast food place.

I think, maybe, your Sonic was just not up to par.  Our Sonic is about the best fast-food place in our town.  It is also one of the cleanest.  Maybe try one in another town.

OMG yes, cherry limeade!  I'm going to get one tomorrow.

It is new, and I don't know of any others around here.  We have gone there for ice cream in the past and tonight I thought "let's try it for dinner."  Well that's what i get lol.  The burger wasn't horrible but the onion rings and fries were pretty bad.  Maybe we just got them on a bad day?  lol

I myself like their ice cream treats, but my fav is a lemon-berry slush.

I don't like their onion rings (you can taste the sugar -- nothing like the onion rings at the famous Atlanta Varsity, even though there are Varsities in Athens and Kennesaw) -- and Sonic is pretty pricey, too.  I love the Ocean Water!
