A Question about sending private PM's....

this may sound like a silly question, but can you only send a pm to a member here if you find their name to click on?  What I mean is, is there a register of members provided?  I ask, because sometimes you want to a pm to someone hwo has not chatted for some time, and oyu then have to search to find a post by them?

That's how I've done it.  There is "find a user" under shortcuts

Where do you find Shortcuts ???

Hope you and family are well, Mirry. Right now I am taking a 5 minute break between lower body and upper body morning exercises and will check back later.

 If you are uncertain about the exact spelling of the user's username, enter as much as you are sure of followed by an asterisk (*). 

For instance, if you didn't remember whether I was "LadyFingers" or "Lady Fingers", you could enter "Lady*" while entering "Lady" without the asterisk would only get the member with that exact username.

There are a lot of members, so narrrow your search as much as you can.

Oh, and Grelo, Shortcuts is one of the boxes of options on the right of this, and every, screen here.  Above the Unanswered Posts and Active Posts boxes.  If you have your text size large here, you may need to scroll to the right to see them.

Mammaw. it is three potato heads that the littlies had in their stockings from Nonnie..one Spike,(a dog!) and two others I forget their name, you stand them in water after having soaked them, make sure the piece of string is in the water, and after a few days, lovely grass sprouts out of their heads and you can shape it and trim it! (Someone clever invented them, like a piece of dark tights, and somehting soft in the middle, and covered in grass seeds),they were standing on the window sill of the downstairs loo for light, and they loved them!

Makes me say "gee why didn't I think of that!" LOL!!

Are they similiar to Chia Pets, Mirabelle??  That's what I thought they were at first!!!

hello Renee, no idea, but the grass is so soft, and you can cut and shape it...but the string must be in the water, they suck it up...one was spike, I htink the dog was Bozo but forget the monkey...they got a lot pleasure out of it....LOL

I do have everything enlarged and never look on the right. Thought only ads were  on the right. Now I have to take a closer look at what is there for future use.

Funny thing, though...the 'shortcuts' box doesn't always show up for me.  Like just now, it was not at the right of my screen...then I replied to a post and it showed up again.  On the main thread page it is the bottom box, below  'active posts', etc.  On this reply page, it is the top box.  After I hit reply, it just may disappear again.  Hmmmm....

Edited:  Now, the 'shortcuts' box is in the middle of the other boxes.  I need to get a life.
