Foodguy: Please post your peach cobbler recipe!

Your recipe was given a great review but the recipe was not posted in the review.  You mentioned it in another post when you said your wife's recipe for peach cobbler was so good it would make you weep.  Again I couldn't find the recipe.  Please post it for all of us who have been looking for it.  Thanks...Marge

Sorry folks just got on here. Here is my wife;s ever so popular recipe. Hope you enjoy it.

Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and you're in heaven.

    Dori’s Peach Cobbler*

1 stick (1/2 cup) butter or margarine

    4 cups sliced peaches

    1 cup sugar

    ½ teaspoon cinnamon

    ¼ teaspoon nutmeg

    1 cup flour

    1cup sugar

    1 Tablespoon baking powder

    1/8th teaspoon (pinch) salt

    1 cup milk

Preheat oven to 375. Place butter in 9x13 baking pan, and place in oven to melt while oven heats.

Combine peaches, sugar and spices in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

While peaches heat, stir together flour, sugar, and baking powder, salt and milk just to combine well and make a thin batter.

Pour boiling peaches over batter. Do not stir.

Thanks for posting the cobbler recipe.  I have some nectarines that I am going to try with this recipe and might put in a few blueberries.  Do you think that will work?

     Thanks FG!

That's pretty much the one I use that I got from Tink called Creeping Crust Cobbler and you're  right, it's so good it'll make you weep. Everytime I make it, I end up with no clean spoons because of going back for "just one more bite" LOL. alaskafishergirl made it the other day and had the same problem, said she'd end up weighing 700 lbs if she made this too often! One thing I do do different is I add almond and vanilla extract to the crust and wow lol!

    Yes, I know I am a btch.
I have been a btch all my life. I am good at it.
It takes very little effort on my part, and I am used to it. Applying the same reasoning to you, I cannot understand your offense at being called stupid.
