Ok - I've lost enough furbabies in the last 2 weeks!

Last week one of our cats passed away from F.I.V. - he adopted us several years ago after his owner abandoned him.

Then we had to put our last cat down, he was 15 yrs old.

Today - I lost a horse.  He's had a really bad knee for a long time.  He's been very hobbly for about a year and half.  Over the last week he's spent more time laying down.  Today he didn't get up. Sad

I've had enough gloom for awhile!  Someone tell me something happy!

Oh sstetzel, I'm so sorry!  It sounds like you've had a bad time of it.

I saw a baby hummingbird at my feeder early this morning!  I didn't know what it was at first. It was 6 a.m. and I was at the kitchen window and saw something on the feeder.  At first I thought it was a very big bee but I saw it move.  Then I thought maybe it was a bunch of what my dd calls wishers stuck to the feeder.  Then I saw him fly off into the trees.  It was a nice way to start the day.  I hope your days get brighter.

My sincere sympathy to you on the loss of your pets. My hat is off to you for adopting a cat who was abandoned. You  gave your pets a good home, and you should be proud of that.

    Take good care. ((((sstetzel))))

I'm so very sorry -- it's true, though, your animals were fortunate enough to have had loving homes under your care and when their time came, you did not let them suffer.

You have my deepest cosmic thoughts.  Although I have been through it before, I still cannot imagine the loss of my "little family" and dread the days....  But they are a part of me, as yours are a part of you.  They will live on in you, in the love they gave and the love you gave, and in the lessons they taught you.  They will always be alive within you.  And you can cradle them any time, by just closing your eyes.

Much love to you, my friend.

Awww Sstetzel!  That's too sad!  I'm sorry for the loss of your furbabies but you did the last thing you could for them, and that was to not let them suffer any longer.  Many good and warm thoughts to you.
