    Hi All,

    I thought I recently saw something posted about this but I cannot find it now.  I went thru an old box of things, clothes mainly.  They are not moldy but have that smell to them.  Does anyone know of how I can get the scent out of the clothes?  Thanks for any help.

     I would wash them with borax or add a odor neutralizer to the wash water.

    It's true that every time you hear a bell, an angel gets his wings. But what they don't tell you is, every time you hear a mouse trap snap, an angel gets set on fire.

    I'm not going to offer any suggestions here, beyond hanging them out and airing them and only washing them if you want to keep them and only then if they haven't been shut up in the box so long that the fabric has begun to deteriorate (fabric needs to breathe, my mom always says), but I really NEEDED to respond, just for the reason that the title of this thread may very well be the funniest thing on TOH since the new board debuted.
