We planted these in dixie cups at my school. The kids brought them home back in April or May. Anyway, DS (Payton) planted one as well and I brought it home. We transplanted it at home and I thought it would NEVER bloom! We went out back today to let the kiddos swim and look what "popped" open!
How exciting! I still remember as a kid bringing home our planted treasure to watch grow and bloom! Ours were usually marigolds.
Beautiful!
Pretty, bringht and sunny! (What you "grew in the house" is pretty cute too :)
both of those flowers are awesome!!
Kewl! WTG Payton!
Yes, I know I am a btch. I have been a btch all my life. I am good at it.It takes very little effort on my part, and I am used to it. Applying the same reasoning to you, I cannot understand your offense at being called stupid.

Thanks for the kind words! Poor kid can't even eat a taco lol! He was looking at me the other night and said "Mom this is hard to do without any front teeth!" lol
I just cant believe it bloomed. I didn't think it would after all this time!
Pretty flower! And what a cute kid!
how cute! I didn't plant any sunflowers this year. First time. Angel likes to eat them, to much.
Funny, though, along the road, here and there, I will see one lonely small , about 3 foot tall, sunflower. Just like they were planted there. Strange.
