    Quilted Christmas tree skirt pattern

I am trying to find a patchwork quilted Christmas tree skirt pattern.  I would like to make a square one, so I can make patchwork blocks.  I have been looking for a pattern online and haven't found one I like.  Any advice would be appreciated.

I would just make up my own pattern. Pick whatever material you like and do it in 6 inch or whatever size blocks. That's what I do for my kids' quilts sometimes. I don't know if that is taboo...but I've always been kind of outside of the box on things. I like to get creative. Sorry if this doesn't help.

Rachelle, nothing taboo about creating your own designs for quilts.  That is how so many patterns came to be.  Somebody was creative, showed off their work, somebody else copied it and BAM!! it becams a standard accepted quilt pattern.  I think it would be a wonderful idea for cmo to design her own.  If she has kids, maybe they can help.  You are a very creative person to make that suggestion to her.
