Good morning,
Shorty, hope your Daddy is feeling good, and your Mommy got her rest. Lots of tail wags from Cody and Fenway to you.
Margaret E, thank you, there is no hurry, whenever you get around to it I will be appreciate it. I do have quite a few trifle recipes, I'm just kind of doing a 'regional study' from England, so to speak. Just found that different parts of England have as many variations of the same recipe as there are cooks. Hope you get hoped for results of you DH's scan.
JP, have fun in the city. Is it Edmonton you're going to?
Beverly, that poor deer is amazing. Your weather is way too hot for me. The last two days it got to almost 80 degrees and I was longing for winter. Of course in winter I'll be whining about the cold, but mid 70s without humidity is enough for me!
Randi, congratulations to your friend. It was nice of you to nominate her, and look what that led to. Great that you can go to see her receive her award.
Nancy Z, my sympaties for Russell. Wishing him a quick recovery, and some rest for you.
Tippy, so glad you had a lovely, relaxing and pleasant day. Mullberry jelly sounds so delightful even though I've never had it. Have fun in your garden.
We have a grey, rainy day and I'm taking this opportunity to sort out some old pictures. I found a box with tons of them and am having a hard time putting names to faces. For example, my dad had four sisters - I know when I see a picture that it's one or the other of his sisters, I just don't know which is which. It's such a shame and there's nobody I can ask. The four of them look similar. But I did find pictures of both my grandmothers, and one grandfather. Will have to dig deeper to find the other one. I'd like to do that so Elizabeth won't have to ask - who on earth are these people. :)
Have a wonderful day everyone and stay safe,
Grace
