Good morning Lusi, Viny and all to come by today.
DH and I had such a nice time yesterday. The weather was perfect and comfortable and we even checked out another place to spend a weekend or a couple of week days. I's called The Inn at Honey Run. It's a beautiful place and very out of the way secluded. No two rooms are alike. www.innathoneyrun.com
Shopping was pretty successful. I bought a loaf of my favorite muesli bread, some baby Swiss cheese and also some butter cheese, which is just like the imported Havarti, but less expensive, (got some for Mom too) cinnamon rolls for Frank, found some 5 inch pot pie pans for Dsis, and some Elderberry Jam for Frank. He's been in elderberry withdrawl since Smuckers discontinued it due to lack of enough elderberry bushes for their production.
Lusi, so glad to hear that Leo is safely home again. Did he notice the redecorating you did? How nice that Ari got the sauna ready for him to enjoy.
Barb and Viny, I saw a story about the "fish pedicure" on the news and it looks gross. They reported that it's harmless as long as the fish tank is kept clean! Yuk!!!
Vammie, hope you do make it to Amish country someday. You would love it. Oh, I forgot to mention that I bought a box of chocolate truffles while I was there too. There is a place to buy chocolates and you can go through a walkway with all glass on one side and watch as they make the chocolates. It smells wonderful in there and I always tease Frank that I think I gain a few pounds just by being in there. Hope all of your repairs were made yesterday.
Maureen, glad the doctor apmt went pretty well. My Mom has a heart murmer too and they just watch it and it never has changed. DH is in a statin and it worked on him so quickly. He did say he thought it made his legs feel a little weak, but not much. By the way, about the water, he said felt stimulated just hearing about it! LOL Then later, I caught him in the kitchen singing to the coffee pot. He'll keep this one going for a while!
Leaving soon fo Mom's, so better get moving along now. Hope everyone has a nce day today and God bless, Jo Ann
