I think Ball Park franks are the best, but I usually buy the cheapest I can find.

I like Hebrew National 97% fat free.  They have about 370 mg of sodium which I think it kinda low for a hot dog.

Funny thing is, our Co-op sells Country Morning brand, and their bulk hot dogs is the only ones that don't make DH sick!  All those lovely expensive brands make DH sick, so I stick with these ones.

I don't eat hotdogs anymore, but DH loves Hebrew National, Dietz & Watson or Nathan's.  He isn't too concerned about the saltiness though ~ I don't think anything could be too salty for him, lol!  So, I'm not sure how the saltiness goes with those ~ he's coming from a flavor only perspective :)

Hello! We only buy Ball Park beef franks. I won't buy any hot dogs with chicken in them (that is just wrong!!) haha I have yet to try a Nathan's or Hebrew National I have heard they are both good! We used to buy Wimmer's , but for some reason they taste really different now.  OK now I want a hot dog! haha Chuzi

Well, from spring to fall we buy Ball Park to do on the grill.  I get a lot of them when they're buy 1 get 2 free. I agree though, they do taste quite salty.  But in the winter we only eat Kowalski natural casing hotdogs, boiled.  They don't taste too salty at all.
