Marion is heading to Redding today and I am letting you all know she says goodmorning....

Well DD is coming over this afternoon...she is bringing my DM with her because my DM is getting a perm and a haircut..

Good morning.  Another hot day today.  Left all the windows open, only to discover the furnace was turned on too high, and so it was kicking in, how stupid can I get??  Should be 27 today, that is perfect summer weather, but I feel bad for DH who is in a basement hole pouring cememnt!  White walls all around, and pouring concrete.  When it is 23 outside, it's 30 in the hole, so what it will be down there today, I can only imagine!  One year both guys passed out while doing a cememt floor, first DH went down, and the other guy laughed and laughed, then he got up, and BAM, he went down.  Then he tells my DH "Uh, I think we need a break" LOL!  So if my DH doesn't come home, I'll be checking down in the hole for passed out men!  I dont' know how they do it in those hot places!  I suppose in some sort of weird way, your body gets used to it, eh?

Well, some plans for today, which may involve eating out, which you know doesnt' happen more then once a month.  We would then just pick up pizza and go to the park, kids love that.  Also off to the library, drop off DD for an hour and a half.

Wow Char your warming up nicely finally!!!!!!! So your having weather in the 80s today eh??? Well enjoy your day out...and have fun at the park with the kids, sounds like a good day to be out in the sunshine...

Well DD is on her way over so I dont know how much I will be on after she gets here, and I will need to take my mom down to the beauty parlor for her perm....

Where is everyone today???? I know where Marion is....but where is everyone else????

Hello Ladies!  Wow quiet day around here.  I went and had lunch with my mom and while i was there i ran into my ex-fiances dad.  It turns out my mom sees the dad quite a bit during her lunch hour since they work near each other.  .  See i dated his son for 6 years from the time i was a sophomore in hs until my sophomore year of college.  He taught me how to drive, i even used his car for the driving test.  He was like a dad to me.  It was nice to see him but it brings up a lot of other feelings.  My ex and I ended up being friends even roommates for a while after our breakup.  He was more like a brother to me after a while and whenever he had girl problems he would call for advice.  Even after i was married and had my girls he called for advice.  When he met his now wife he brought her here on their first date for my "approval"   Im glad he found someone. Once they got married not a word from him.  I miss my "brother".  My DH was very understanding and had no problem with him.  I know it's an unusual case but we grew up together and just because we grew up and were no longer compatable i still miss my friend and a chunk of my "family".  DOes this make any sense to anyone??? 

Anyway.  It's pizza for dinner since dd had a cheerleading orientation and Dh had a haircut.  Well i'm off to order the pizza.
